Body image is the #1 shame trigger for women, yet so many of us struggle silently. Why is that?
The answer is simple: society has normalized outlandish beauty standards.
So, instead of asking for support, we blame ourselves, thinking, "Every other woman can maintain the perfect figure, so why can’t I?” and “There must be something wrong with me."
If those thoughts sound familiar, I want to help you unravel those lies from your inner critic and society.
Tune in today, and let’s get real about body image and squash any beliefs that are making you feel bad about the way you look.

Most of us don’t know much about menopause, we just know it will happen at some point. Turns out it is more than just hot flashes, the end of your period, and possible hormone-replacement therapy.
The symptoms affect women physically and mentally, and they can go on for a long time. For me, it created the perfect storm where my life felt really hard for a while.
This episode is a great listen if you would like a little more information on what menopause actually is, when it could happen, and your options for treating your uncomfortable symptoms.

Do you find yourself swooping in to save the day for your kids every time something goes wrong? You're not alone. As caring parents, we often default to 'rescue mode.'
The problem is that kids need space to fail, dust themselves off, and keep going. They can only do that if we give them the room to try independently.
If you struggle to stand by while your kids face challenges, catch this episode for tips and tricks. I'm sharing psychological insights and (real and raw) personal lessons to help you get better at letting go each day.
Tune in, and let's learn how to make tough but positive parenting choices together.

Grief is hard to talk about because it usually feels isolating or scary
The problem with that? Healing can’t happen in a vacuum. We NEED to feel heard and understood to heal, but It’s hard to find the right words to express the pain we’re feeling. Or a listening ear willing to hear us without judgment.
That’s why today, I’m peeling back the layers of grief by using one of my most difficult losses as an example to walk through Brené Brown’s 3 elements of grief.
I hope that this episode will remind you that we all have a grief story. Whether you’ve experienced a devastating loss or something small, you’re never alone. And it’s okay if your path to healing isn’t linear – it was never meant to be.

Are you scared to have tough conversations? It’s not your fault.
Many of us (myself included) were raised in families where discussing emotions wasn’t the norm, and being a ‘good girl’ and doing what we were told - no matter how we felt about it - was expected.
But sweeping real issues under the rug to avoid tough conversations doesn’t do anyone any favors. Eventually, the hidden problems surface as irritability, resentment, and burnout.
If you’re ready to stop repeating these unhelpful patterns. Listen to this episode for advice on facing problems head-on so you can tackle tough conversations confidently BEFORE resentment festers.

Are in-person wellness retreats really worth the hype? After all, between the time, money, and energy it takes to get there, the investment feels lofty (especially because there's an endless supply of self-help resources on the internet and on bookstore shelves)...right?
In this episode, I’m explaining why personal development books end up collecting dust on our shelves, leaving us stuck in the same patterns that lead to burnout despite our best intentions. Plus, I’m uncovering the science behind the transformational power of retreats that combine sisterhood with real expertise and real-time application of new life and leadership skills.

We’ve all heard the phrase ‘You teach people how to treat you.’ But did you know that making empty threats could be reinforcing a dynamic where you're not taken seriously?
It sounds counterintuitive – we usually resort to empty threats when we’ve reached our wits' end and finally stand up for ourselves.
But what happens when we don’t follow through? We signal to others - whether it’s our kids, partner, or colleagues - that there’s no real accountability.
In this episode, I’m teaching you how to break this cycle with 3 simple skills that will help you transform conflict into a catalyst for positive change in your relationships - not a source of strife.

Is anxiety driving your behavior? It might be without you even realizing it…
If you find yourself people-pleasing, over-planning, or being hyper-independent you might be OVERfunctioning thanks to anxious tendencies.
If you find yourself procrastinating, avoiding texts and emails, avoiding commitments you might be UNDERfuncitoning - also thanks to anxious tendencies.
These kinds of behaviors can help us cope with anxiety in the short term but often fuel our anxiety in the long term.
That’s why in this episode, I’m diving deep into WHY we turn to these not-so-supportive behaviors to cope, and how to identify them. That way, we can replace these unhelpful behaviors with healthier tools to actually calm and relieve your anxiety.
