Mark is one of those rare technical people who can operate as a techy across the business, IT operations, Software, and Cyber Security. He's outspoken and at times controversial, but he knows IT and has a no-nonsense approach to IT and Business challenges. He is not afraid to speak his mind when it is for the good of the business and in particular when it comes to cyber risk. If you require someone to go along with the 'Status Quo', then do not engage with Mark. He has your business's best interests and is as thorough as they come. He understands Cyber more than most and will ensure that your business remains safe, and secure and thrives. I feel I should reference the eighties US TV programme The A-Team now, but basically, Mark is your Hannibal Smith, a maverick who gets it done! And he does love it when a plan comes together! In this episode, we talk and discuss the following;
Vigilance in the real world (i.e. financial) and vigilance in the digital world (i.e systems) - the disparity The threat of cybersecurity to company directors, not just the business itself. Board education for cyber competence. Why should a Board require ANY competence - CISO/CIO/CTO should be enough? "You can't get there from here" - forging a way aheadFollow or connect with True Worth

Craig Taylor knows that running a digital agency is tough. he did it for ten years and it almost broke him!
That said, he still loves digital and, with 23+ years of experience, Craig joined us to share some of the (perceived) wisdom from that time. Itâs especially relevant now, as agency owners embrace the demands of post-pandemic life; remote and hybrid working, and the increased costs and demands from employees who now have much more power to dictate how and when they work.
He will also share with us some of his experiences of the specific challenges of working in digital and delivering digital products and projects with demanding clients and in a fluid and constantly evolving environment.
What will this podcase deliver? A humorous but informative look at the unique challenges of delivering digital products and projects How to avoid the pitfalls of running a digital agency and handling challenging clients and projects How to embrace the new ânormâ of working; remote working and meetings, a fluid market for employees and safeguarding the wellbeing of those remote workers and how to find them and retain them A look at how some of the âbig boysâ get digital wrong and how smaller, more agile agencies can learn from that How the landscape has changed in the last 25 yearsWe hope you enjoy this longer-than-normal episode, we cover a lot and could have talked longer, to be honest!
Thanks again Craig
