Weight loss does NOT have to be complicated. It's not easy, we know that. But it doesn't have to be super complicated. That's why we focus on a habit-based approach for weight loss.
If you do not change your lifestyle, you will have a very difficult time keeping the weight off long term. And I'm sure you want that for yourself.
Keeping the weight off is HARD. But want to know what makes it harder? Not changing your lifestyle and accepting that this is a lifestyle change!

If you are doing an unrealistic, unsustainable plan... you shouldn't expect to keep the weight off. If you are tired of being 'on' or 'off' a diet... you need to rethink your approach. You are not going to keep the weight off long term if you are trying to take shortcuts. If you want to stay fit, you will need to continue to do the same things you did to lose weight (portion control, exercise, sleep well, stay hydrated)

To be frank, I enjoy similar meals year-round, but I just reduce my overall portions and reduce my snacking. I like enjoying bigger meals when I am trying to lose fat, so I don't like to 'spend' all my calories on snacks that won't fill me up as much.
