Dale shares openly about her final days of pregnancy (she spontaneously went into labor on her due date!), what she did to naturally “induce” herself, her birth story and the main differences this time around: how she introduced Leo to his baby brother, her feeding journey and everything in between. Oh and of course, her first meal post delivery.

Tara Moni joins us today on the podcast! She had 3 boys under 2 (now 3 under 3). When her first son was 18 months, she welcomed identical twin boys into her family. She’s the founder of La Maregold, a resort-wear brand and a content creator. We dive into the unglamorous truths of what ‘doing it all’ actually means (spoiler alert, it’s not possible). Tara is unapologetically herself which is so refreshing, and shares authentically about the behind the scenes village that allows her to work, have a social life and make time for her husband/friends, all while having 3 young kids. As a girly girl living with 3 boys and her husband, Tara continues to foster her femininity and creativity through her love for fashion.
Tara shares her journey from running partnerships at SomethingNavy to venturing out on her own / starting her dream brand post kids - letting go of resistance to her changing identity and instead embracing it. We discuss how she skipped the transition from 1-2 and went directly from 1-3 kids, and how that impacted her identity, her relationship dynamic and her parenting styles. And of course, we get you some great styling tips on how to dress during pregnancy and postpartum from the queen herself - hint: effortless and affordable sets!

Intimacy (physical, emotional, mental & spiritual) evolves a lot during motherhood. For us, intimacy doesn’t feel as easy and ‘spontaneous’ as it used to be, it requires intention, nurturing and sometimes even planning now that we have more responsibilities. We chat through our love languages, our new definitions of intimacy and how we foster it in our relationships, false expectations, as well as learnings from ‘The Queen’s code’ by Alison A. Armstrong which has helped us better understand how men operate.

So special to have Michaela Podolsky on today’s episode. She has not done a podcast since 2021 (with her sister Arielle Charnas), so we feel SUPER honored she decided to share with us. We’ve both been following Michaela for quite some time, so this was a full circle moment for us. Michaela shares the realities of 3 under 3, what the hardest transition was, and how being pregnant for 4 consecutive years impacts your identity and relationship with your body. She also shares openly about losing a twin in her first pregnancy and navigating that loss, while moving to Florida away from her family in NYC who she is exceptionally close with. We dive into Michaela’s relationship with her sisters and how they’ve inspired her career / motherhood journey, as well as her relationship with her husband, Brett, and their secret to a strong relationship after 3 kids and 10+ years of being together. She discusses how she parents vs. how she was raised - including how her own mother instilled confidence in her at a young age. Overall, Michaela’s positive, glass half full attitude to life is incredibly refreshing and inspiring and we know you will love this episode as much as we did!

D&A get real about their relationships with technology - the sense of urgency that stems from our phones that tend to pull us from the present moment. We discuss the boundaries we’ve implemented to protect our peace, why we have to create intentional boundaries, how to notice when we need them, how to stick to them and also command respect from others. We’re in a world that can greatly benefit from technology, but we need to use it as a tool vs let it rule us, so we can protect our energy and peace, while also being role models for our children.

We are so honored Sari chose to share her intimate pregnancy and fertility journey with us on today’s episode. Sari shares the difficult process of getting pregnant with her second. She discusses letting go of her desire for a certain age gap, her miscarriage and the isolating feelings that ensued, struggles with self-blame, going through infertility while others around her were sharing their pregnancy announcements, and what led to her success with fertility treatments. Sari is open and raw about the emotional rollercoaster, speaking openly about her mental health and emotions along the way. We discuss what to say / not say to someone who is going through it, the importance of finding someone to advocate for you and the realities of things not being in our control, no matter how much we try.

One of our favorite episodes to date, we welcome Lucie Fink, soon to be mother of 2 (any day now!), video creator, YouTuber and podcast host. As all three of us are pregnant with our second, we discuss the transition from 1-2 and what she would do differently. We dive into the mental toll of breastfeeding, the self-inflicted pressure we sometimes put on ourselves and the resentment of carrying the mental load, regardless of how helpful and present our partner is. Lucie shares about her identity struggles postpartum and how she morphed her platform into one that speaks openly about taboo topics - sex, money and mental health. We get real about money, Lucie’s relationship with it stemming from her upbringing, and how she now approaches it as a mom. This is a must listen episode for any parent…

Exciting news! Annabel is pregnant and found out unexpectedly the week before she left to Paris for the summer. This episode shares the behind the scenes journey from a few days before she left at only 5 weeks pregnant, to right when she returned at almost 12 weeks! Annabel shares it all - the feeling of finding out she was pregnant and then leaving her comfort zone for 2 months, to finding an OB in Paris and how different the process / guidelines were (from doctor bedside manner to food restrictions), and how she dealt with navigating nausea/fatigue in a new environment.

Living and parenting in France is VERY different than the US and Annabel’s here to answer all of your questions: from why they’re in Paris, what they brought and what they bought, how they found an apartment and a nanny, their daily schedule with Gemma (15 months) and all the ways they’ve adapted to French culture and living. Annabel discusses her observations as an American mom living in Paris, the unique parenting / cultural differences and which French parenting techniques she’s bringing home with her. Lastly, she shares how relocating to Paris with a toddler, while an incredible experience, was not always as glamorous as it may seem. Being completely out of your comfort zone can really test you, but there’s also so much magic in that - so much growth and key lessons that will help shape her motherhood journey.

In today’s episode, D&A take their Instagram series of ‘do I need this’ to the pod for a part 2. They spill the tea on the most asked about baby products: if they’re worth the money, or if they’re worth skipping. They touch on everything from cribs vs bassinets, playmats and Lovevery subscriptions, high chairs, diapers, baby proofing and everything in between - and the highlight, nose booger/mucus devices 😂.

This episode dives into the “Just wait” comments that can easily scare moms and expecting mothers. When people project their labor horror stories, sleepless nights to come, or “watch out for those terrible twos” it can be invalidating and unsettling to say the least. D&A chat about the unwarranted ‘just wait’ comments across every milestone of their motherhood journey.

We get real today with Cameron Rogers, the queen of authenticity on all things motherhood and mental health. No topics are off limits - postpartum depression and anxiety, the “roommate” phase, therapy, sex and intimacy (spoiler alert: she’s having the best sex of her life post-baby), and the identity crisis that comes with motherhood. As three recovering perfectionists, we get into the importance of healing our ‘inner child’ in order to show up best for our children without projecting our past traumas onto them. Cameron shares how she transformed from a high strung, super competitive, fast-phased college athlete turned wall-street professional, and surrendered into the chaos of motherhood.

In today’s episode, we talk about taking care of ourselves as a new mom and how we’ve redefined our definition of self-care. Especially as moms, we need to commit to (not detract from) the practices that make us feel good, mentally and physically, in order to show up as the best mom for our children, in addition to the best version of ourselves. We discuss how we make time for ourselves in this new chapter, our favorite practices and rituals and how feeling good >> looking good in our new era.

Shame came on quite strongly for both of us during motherhood - we felt alone and isolated throughout various stages of pregnancy and motherhood. It’s one of those ugly emotions that eat at you, so we’re here to break it down and share our experiences with it. D opens up about the shame that came up on her breastfeeding journey and A shares about the shame she felt surrounding her birth experience. D&A chat through many other instances of shame they’ve experienced in motherhood and how as women, a lot of the expectations we’re ‘supposed’ to meet are impossible and often times conflicting. We’re supposed to be with our kids 24/7 and not have help, yet we’re also supposed to work and make money. We’re shamed if we take a solo trip with our husbands without our kids, yet also shamed if we don’t put our relationship first. Damned if we do, damned if we don’t.

There are so many “milestones” for our children that are tracked since the day they’re born. Not just from our doctors, but it seems to be the first question most people ask when asking about your child. In this episode, we dive into the emotional component and get real about the shame, guilt and judgement that can arise if our children don’t hit milestones “on time.” We may wonder if our children are behind or blame ourselves for not “doing enough.” D shares openly about her son’s walking status and how our emotions toward milestones are in fact a huge mirror into our past childhood experiences. We chat through what we can do to heal our inner child and remove the shame we attach to it. Our children will forever be hitting milestones, I mean does it ever end? We have to find ways to protect our peace. This is a must listen for any parent going through it.

Megan Roup is a celebrity trainer, founder of The Sculpt Society and most importantly, an incredible and inspiring mom of two. We talk all things identity and chat through the process of re-learning what it means to show up authentically postpartum, working-mom guilt and handling “hustle culture” when you enter motherhood. Megan talks overwhelm and boundaries, while also reminding herself every phase is temporary. We discuss body image, healing unhealthy relationships to food and the mindf*** of body dysmorphia during pregnancy and postpartum. Last but not least, we discuss all things pelvic floor (PSA - it is not normal to pee in your pants postpartum, hear why). Overall, this episode is raw, real and a glimpse into the real rollercoaster ride and balancing act of motherhood.
