In classic #wiwt90s fashion, we are super late to the #XMen97 party. So while every youtuber and podcaster has analysed the last three episodes to death already, join Sam, Sean and Sleepy Pat for our jaded take on the conclusion. Spoiler: it's better the original series. Not much else to say, because we can't remember the episodes or what we talked about.

Sean and Sam reunite with Pat to discuss the next three episodes of #XMen97 and what a three episodes they are. Sam and Simon relive their childhoods by taking a trip down memory lane to discuss Freaks and Geeks with friend of the podcast, Cam Paulik. They rewatched the 1999 classic and have thoughts on most of the star studded cast. Did they watch on dubbed VHS tapes or did they borrow bubble wrapped DVDs for this rewatch? Neither, all episodes available on TVNZ+ for those New Zealand listeners.

Pat takes a well-earned break leaving Sean and Sam to discuss episodes 3 & 4 of #XMen97. The main topic of conversation is the breakneck speed at which the show is churning through storylines and whether or not we can keep up. Questions are asked about a potential downturn in quality and always, a #Mojo and #Jubilee themed episode will do nothing for our crew. However, comparisons were made to Mojo's weight loss of Jonah Hill and Fat Bastard. Truly #Storm continues to be a highlight, we fizz for #Forge and his short-shorts and Sean has to tirelessly explain the #GoblinQueen and the Summers family tree.

We take some listener requests, as well as take some inspiration from WatchMojo's 20 Most Ridiculous 90s Music Videos. Due to popular demand (one patron request), here it is, our episode on Mortal Kombat Annihilation that is hopefully more enjoyable than the film. Sean and Pat are joined by part-timer Marty T and fresh guest (and said patron) Stratties. The question is, is this the worst thing we have had to cover and should this be categorised as Cringe Factor? Join us as we discuss the butchering of all your favourite characters like blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameos from #SubZero and #Scorpion as well as the horrible recasting of #Raiden and truly unforgiveable performance of #CindelOur sponsor for this episode is Accountants Plus (and definitely not Zero): Any contractors or business owners looking for a great, personal service head over to https://www.accountantsplus.co.nz/ or email Jase directly at [email protected]
