Dr. Wantz, a very serious scientist, looking for a way to find what really makes people happy, made some discoveries. People enjoy their life much better when a limit is set outside their will. For instance, once a day at midnight. It has a tremendous positive effect on the population. There is a catch though. Each single day a life has to be really taken randomly so people really enjoy it each day. It has a huge positive impact on the population forcing it to live in the present. Many countries have started implementing that.

A grumpy detective is unhappy by the frenzy. He used to catch cold cases killers and now he is looking to the Hidden K, the person or team doing the killings, sensing he or she may over reach and kill without impunity. We follow him tracking Dr. Wantz. What he will discover is far beyond his usual killers.

The underlying topic of the book is the importance of enjoying life in the present, its consequences.

  • An 84-year-old woman vanishes from her Tucson home. No witnesses. No ransom call that makes sense. And a family waiting in the kind of silence that breaks people.

Nancy Guthrie—mother of Today Show anchor Savannah Guthrie—disappeared on January 24, 2025, setting off a national investigation that has exposed deep dysfunction between federal and local law enforcement, raised more questions than answers, and captivated a country watching in real time.

This is Finding Nancy—the only podcast dedicated entirely to this case.

Hosted by Tony Brueski, veteran true crime podcaster and Court TV legal analyst, this channel delivers what mainstream coverage can't: daily monologues breaking down every development as it happens, multi-part expert interview series with former FBI agents, behavioral analysts, and criminal defense attorneys, and unflinching analysis of the investigative failures, jurisdictional conflicts, and unanswered questions surrounding this case.

We don't do speculation dressed up as insight. We don't recycle what you've already heard. Every episode is built on verified reporting, primary sources, and expert perspective—delivered with the kind of clarity and directness this case demands.

You'll hear from voices like Robin Dreeke, former chief of the FBI's Counterintelligence Behavioral Analysis Program, and Jennifer Coffindaffer, retired FBI Special Agent, breaking down what the evidence actually tells us—and what it doesn't. You'll get real-time analysis of Sheriff Chris Nanos's public statements, the FBI's involvement, and the contradictions piling up between them.

This isn't entertainment. This is accountability journalism in podcast form.

Whether you're following because of who Nancy's daughter is, or because an elderly woman deserves answers regardless of her family's fame, this is where you come to understand what's really happening—not what someone wants you to believe is happening.

New episodes drop daily as the case develops. Subscribe now.

  • In Season Two of her true crime series, The God Hook, journalist Carol Costello investigates the complex case of the Ohio Craigslist Killings—and in doing so, unearths the untold story of the crimes that preceded the murders—and the victims who’ve never received justice. Richard Beasley was convicted of murdering three men and attempting to kill a fourth in the fall of 2011, but before that heinous spree, authorities were building a human trafficking case against him. Now, working with the case's prosecutor, a county sheriff, and many closely involved sources, Carol examines previously unknown details of Beasley’s alleged crimes, and how he used the God Hook to lure his victims and bend them to his will.
In Season One of this podcast, Blind Rage, journalist Carol Costello revisits the first big assignment she covered as a 22-year-old, novice reporter: Phyllis Cottles’ brutal attack. Psychologists call them “Triumphant Survivors,” but Phyllis Cottle was more than a survivor, she used this crime to better herself and the world around her.
