On September 14, 2000, the Lakeville, Indiana police received a call from a secretary at the Arndt Construction company saying that three of their construction workers had been found dead in a barn on the property of a mansion owned by the Sears family. They had been killed by four men from South Bend, Indiana, who had come to rob the house and had simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time. But how did these four murderers from out of town know to rob the residence when allegedly, no one was home? That was because Charity Payne, an unassuming, 18-year-old High School graduate from North Liberty, Indiana, had tipped them off. What happened after the murders was a devastating game of back-and-forth "he-said, she-said" that had people from all over the country asking the question: Indiana's Charity Payne: Villain or Victim?Show Notes: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3500496/Thanks to our sponsor for this episode The Marc Lopez Law Firmhttps://marclopezlaw.com/Marc Lopez Law Firm
