Hello, HoneyPots,
Life in Korea has not always been sunshine and cute kiddos. There have definitely been many a rollercoaster and I'm sure each of my ex-colleagues would be able to tell their own hagwon horror story time about this same place. Please double-check contracts before starting at a school, but most importantly KNOW THE LAWS! Download the Korean Labor Law app. It has Korean and English.

Howdy HoneyPots!
This time we go into Hagwons! I forgot to mention that you should also be from an English-speaking country as there are only 7 that the government allows. HOWEVER, some hagwons do higher some people that are not native speakers or that do not come from one of the 7 countries. I hope this helps all of you HoneyPots to make the best decisions when you come on over.
Sending you pots of love.

Hey there HoneyPots! This is about all the things that went down during my time working with EPIK. I still personally think it is a great program to go through if you're a first-time teacher. I just want to make sure you know that these kinds of things do happen anywhere and everywhere in the world.
The next episode is about Hagwons~~

Hey HoneyPots: The English Program in Korea is gov't sponsored. I believe it is the best way to come to Korea if it's your first time teaching or you feel more comfortable knowing you will have guaranteed pay, which might not be the case at some hagwons.

Hey there Honey Pots,
This is the first lesson of our study room using Korean Culture in 100 Keywords text. This is chapter is on Symbolic Icons 상징물 and the first lesson in this section is about Hanguel 한글.
You can view the video on Youtube to see the vocabulary list as well, but I also recommend adding this to your Korean book collection. It is a great text to have if you are truly wanting to study Korean and already have a grasp of the Korean alphabet.
