We've been in a holding pattern for so long in our efforts with the Burger Chef Murders and the case I have long-planned to cover for season 4 of Circle City Crime. We have some updates on the progress and on what the heck happened to the Burger Chef Murders cases that have disappeared from our feed.

Ronnie Roberts was a good kid, a good employee, and a good boyfriend. One Sunday night in 1973 he went missing, and two days later his body was on the wooded shoreline of a reservoir more than 30 miles away from the place he was last scene.

In this episode, we put to bed some more general theories about what could have lead to Tristan Twilley's murder and hone in on a theory that involves a targeted setup.
I'm coming to you live from one of our hotels as we travel Route 66 this week so please excuse the handful of bangs and clangs from doors closing that I couldn't edit out. I thought it was important to keep getting the new evidenced we've unearthed about Tristan's murder out there even though I couldn't record from the comfort of home. It's rare to have a surveillance video that shows a murder, but there's so much about the time and place Tristan Twilley was murdered that you can't see from that video. This week we dive into those things we've uncovered and where we hope that leads us next.

After more than four months, we're wrapping up our regular coverage of the Westside Park Murders. In this episode, we give the most detailed profile we can of who we think committed this terrible crime. Please share. I think if the right person who lived in Muncie, Indiana in the 1980's hears this, they'll immediately have a name come to mind that fits the description of the type of person we believe was beyond the murders of Muncie teens, Kimberly Dowell and Ethan Dixon.

Years after the senseless murder of Kimberly Dowell and Ethan Dixon, a man imprisoned for his most recent in a string of violent crimes contacts Muncie Police Department with a story about that night in September 1985. Does he know something, was he involved, or was he just cooking something up to get a better sentence?

A listener question spurred us to discuss some of the lesser-known theories in the case, and we spend the 2nd half of the episode giving you our two cents on a second man, and a person very close to one of the Westside Park Murders victims, who many in the public still seem to have suspicion about.

It's been known by the public since the earliest hours following the murders of Kimberly Dowell and Ethan Dixon in Westside Park that they were discovered by K9 Officer, Terry Winters, but somehow Winters name also got bandied about early on as a suspect by the public, and for many that we've spoken to that stigma around Winters remains. This week, we got the chance to speak with Mr. Winters and form our own opinion.

We've pieced together hints about the Muncie Police Department's top suspect and gotten a little help from the Muncie rumor mill to find the baddest that 'Little Chicago' had to offer in the 80's and 90's. The men in Danny Slaven's orbit had little regard for human life, and that's exactly what it might take to murder two innocent teens in cold blood.

In this episode we dive deeper into our thoughts on the randomness of the murders of Kimberly Dowell and Ethan Dixon, begin to discuss the idea they were targeted by someone, and discuss how these ideas can begin to point us toward suspects.

There are lots of specific theories that have been floated in the Westside Park Murders over the years, but we feel it important to discuss, and eliminate if possible, categories of theories for people who are less familiar with this case. In this episode we go over the ideas that the Westside Park Murders were the act of a serial killer or simple a random thrill kill.
