Later that year, he moved to Revolution Records, a rebrand of Giant Records, Irving Azoff’s since-shuttered Warner-distributed label. In 1997, he began a seven-year A&R stint at Dreamworks Records. After the company was sold by Geffen to Interscope he worked as part of the IGA team. Over the next eight years, he worked with Wolfmother, TV On The Radio, Major Lazer, and The All-American Rejects. In his current role, he’s signed and worked with critically acclaimed artists such as Mac Miller, Rufus Du Sol, Brandy Clark, Billy Strings, Nessa Barrett, Benson Boone and plenty of others.

    Bill Werde is director of the top-ranked Bandier music industry program in the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, and creator of Full Rate No Cap, the influential weekly email of music industry analysis (https://www.fullratenocap.com). As the former editorial director of Billboard, Werde built a global network of music industry relationships, and a deep understanding of industry trends and mass audience development and engagement across platforms. Now he teaches the next generation of music industry leaders at Bandier, while focusing his consulting work on emerging tech and emerging markets.

    For nearly a decade ending in 2014, Werde oversaw all content efforts at Billboard, leading its conversion from a print B2B magazine to a digital-first, global consumer brand. Under Bill’s leadership, Billboard expanded its international presence with launches in South Korea, Japan, Russia and Brazil, revived the now-top-rated Billboard Music Awards show in partnership with ABC, tripled Billboard.com’s traffic, and grew the brand's social footprint from zero to millions of followers.     President and CEO for the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM), Dr. Richard James Burgess MBE has produced, recorded, and performed on many gold, platinum, and multi-platinum albums. He was previously head of business at Smithsonian Folkways Recordings where he produced Jazz: The Smithsonian Anthology, chronicling the history of jazz and The Smithsonian Anthology of Hip-Hop and Rap. His career path includes studio musician, touring musician, recording artist, producer, manager, and label owner. He is known for his pioneering work with synthesizers, computers, sampling, EDM, New Romantics, early house music, as the inventor of the SDSV drum synthesizer and for coining the music genre terms EDM and New Romantic.     Jenna LoMonaco is a Digital Marketing expert who has used her love of music and knowledge in the social media space to help break up and coming artists into the mainstream music space for over 17 years

    After studying audio production and working at a recording studio straight out of college, she truly started her career in PR at Girlie Action in 2005. In 2007 Jenna got her first big role at an up-and-coming record label, Glassnote records as the Head of New Media. It was there where she blossomed her skills in the digital space, helping break artists such as Mumford & Sons, Phoenix, and Childish Gambino. After 5 years at Glassnote, she left to join the new Label Services branch at Kobalt- Kobalt Label Services. Jenna worked in the digital department where she handled digital strategy for artists such as Martina McBride, Lenny Kravitz, and New Kids on the block.

    In 2015 as Island Records was relaunched as a solo label after separating from Def Jam, Jenna joined the Island team to run the Digital Marketing department. It was here that she begin to work with a newly signed teen artist, Shawn Mendes. Using her social media knowledge she helped create a social media strategy to help grow Shawns social following into the multi-millions. She also lead the digital marketing efforts for artists such as Jessie Reyez, Nick Jonas, The Killers, Elton John, Bon Jovi, Tove Lo, Fall Out Boy, and Demi Lovato.

    In 2021 Jenna Joined ONErpm to lead their US Marketing team. After graduating with a Music Industry degree from USC, Jeremy started his career helping to manage the wine label, public speaking and corporate career of Mick Fleetwood at Sabre Entertainment. He then ran digital for 10th Street Entertainment and Eleven Seven Music working with bands including Mötley CrĂŒe, Papa Roach, and Blondie. In 2010, he joined Concord Music Group helping to establish the direct to consumer team and build the digital marketing & strategy department where he worked with legends like Paul Simon, Paul McCartney, and James Taylor. Jeremy was also an adjunct professor in the USC Music Industry Program where he taught music marketing for six years, and was a partner in the marketing tech platform, found.ee which sold to Downtown Music in 2021.     David M. Israelite is President and CEO of the National Music Publishers’ Association (NMPA), a position he has held since February 2005.

    Israelite is responsible for overseeing all aspects of NMPA’s operations, from legal strategy and implementation to government affairs and advocacy. His leadership has produced revolutionary successes on behalf of publishers including the largest CRB rate increase in history, groundbreaking industry collaboration in royalty rate agreements, landmark settlements and model licenses with streaming platforms, and ultimately raising the profile of the publishing community. Additionally, Israelite was instrumental in guiding the effort to modernize copyright laws culminating in the Music Modernization Act (MMA) and the subsequent creation of the Mechanical Licensing Collective (MLC).

    He has been named to Billboard’s Power 100 multiple times and serves on the boards of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Country Music Association and Special Olympics DC. He also serves as the President of the NMPA S.O.N.G.S. Foundation (Supporting Our Next Generation of Songwriters) which supports songwriters through funding scholarships and direct services, among other assistance.

    Prior to leading NMPA, Israelite held senior positions in various capacities for the U.S. government including at the Department of Justice where he served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Counselor to the Attorney General of the United States and was appointed Chairman of the Department’s Task Force on Intellectual Property. He also worked in the U.S. Senate where he was Administrative Assistant (Chief of Staff) for Missouri Senator Kit Bond. Previously, Israelite also practiced law in the Commercial Litigation Department at the firm of Bryan Cave, LLP in Kansas City, Missouri.

    Israelite earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri and his undergraduate degree from William Jewell College.

The New York Times Style Magazine named the publication, “The best and most exquisitely laid-out music bimonthly in America.” There he grew the magazine into a global movement of vinyl collectors, DJs, and music enthusiasts interested in tracing hip-hop’s DNA back through its roots. This led to an encyclopedic exploration of everything from R&B and jazz, to reggae and Afrobeat. Torres also oversaw the expansion of the brand into foreign-language Japanese editions, book publishing, and a record label.

    After fifteen years at the helm of Wax Poetics, Torres joined the Brooklyn lyrics website Genius as Executive Editor. In addition to ensuring the editorial quality of the site’s crowd-sourced material, he managed a group of editors providing content for the “Behind the Lyrics” collaboration with Spotify. The fast-paced start-up environment provided a window into a highly engaged online community of music fans at the forefront of the shift in music consumption.
