Krizia Bassanini's "A bit of this and that", made with Logic Pro 8 and its instruments and samplers. The main rhythmic elements were built from a mixture of loops and programmed instruments using the EXS24 sampler. The idea for this song came about after having observed both men and women trying to seduce one another. Sometimes the attempt is purely a means of physical gratification, with the lyrics “all it takes is a bit of this and that” suggesting that with a bit more effort and preparation it could turn into more than just a chase. It is an observation of the fruitless and unsatisfying emotional desert that you can find in any social gathering.
