what her plans might be for the future -
In this final episode of the series, I spoke to Ayshea Ullah, Ireland's Strongest Woman.
In 2017 she placed 14th in the World’s strongest woman competition. She holds a record as the number 1 ranked AIPO all time female lifter in 2017. She has the heaviest raw female squat at 215 kg in Ireland.
She will be defending her title at the Irish Muscle Power event during the June bank holiday. I caught up with her back in March to talk about all things strength sports.

In this episode, I spoke to Kelly Casey in her fitness and dance studio in Moycullen in Galway.
Kelly's work ethic is unbelievable. She is a personal trainer, pole dancer coach, aerial hoop artist and competes in bikini competitions; all while running her own business KC Fitness.
She also coaches for pole competitions.
Types
Pole fitness
The focus is on physical strength, technique difficulty and drills. Acrobatics and dancing moves are limited.
Pole artistic
This type emphasises dancing and expression and focuses on movement and music.
Pole exotic
The dancer can wear high heels and the choreography is not as strict and there is more emphasis on flexibility. It is merely a sensual approach to pole dancing and is not pole stripping.

In this episode I speak to Claire Moloney about Kettlebell sport. Claire is representing Ireland in the Kettlebell Sport World Championships in Italy this summer. She trains with the Cork Girevoy Club. I met her at an AKSI (Association of Kettlebell Sport Ireland) Grassroot event in Croom, Limerick.
Some terminology (via wiki)
Snatch: A single kettlebell is swung using one hand from between the knees to above the head in a single motion.
Jerk: Two kettlebells are grasped in each arm at shoulder level and stabilised in the 'rack position', then jerked above the head. Can be performed with one kettlebell.
Long Cycle: Two kettlebells are cleaned from knee level to chest level, then jerked to above the head. Can be performed with one kettlebell.

In this episode I talk to Clare Ryan about CrossFit. Clare is passionate about CrossFit – she is a member of CrossFit Limerick, is involved in coaching and uses her teacher skills to run Crossfit classes for kids. Before CrossFit, Clare represented Ireland in Squash in her teenage years. Clare talks about returning to sport at a later age in life and finding a challenge that goes beyond ‘just working out’ in the gym, and why you time is important for everyone, especially busy mums.
