In this interactive episode I hope to help boost, even if it's just a little, with common business questions. Confidence comes from practice and I'll be inviting you to practice along with me.

You want to sound better in the way you communicate in English, right? Here is one powerful word I would highly recommend adding into your vocabulary to show more conviction but also give caution. I noticed coaching clients that many didn't feel comfortable using this word. Therefore, in this episode I wanted to train on just this one word as in my opinion, it's one you can use a lot and worth learning. This is an interactive episode where you can practice with me.

New season starts tomorrow 25th September. Just before we dive into that, let's me catch you up on what is coming in the new season of CBE.
Every summer I take a break from the normal podcast schedule and send out a survey to listeners. All this feedback helps me make decisions about where to take the podcast going forward. Thank you so much if you took the time to leave your comments!
As a learning takeaway, here's a run-down of advanced vocabulary you will hear:
To bring someone up to speed - to update peopleThe golden thread - a common themeTo make a comeback - to make a returnTo tap into something - to take advantage of resources (in a positive way) in this case trainingTo pour over something- Not a common phrasal verb. to spend a lot of time looking at something like a book or document because you enjoy it."It's like Marmite, you either love it or you hate it" - Very colloquial. This is a very British saying referring to the in my opinion, disgusting vegetarian spread called Marmite! We use this phrase to refer to any topic that is polarizing. To churn out the newsletter - Very colloquial. To keep producing something such as the newsletterSay hello on LinkedIn @AnnaConnelly

Have you ever had that feeling where you want to ask a question but you hesitate?
You aren't sure if it's right, you're overthinking and then by the time you building up the courage the moment is gone! Then you think, why didn't I just ask the question.
First of all, I get it. When you ask a question you have to put yourself out there. It's dangerous territory. They might not understand you, they might ask you to repeat, you might feel stupid.
That's why I believe being able say the most common questions will help you feel more confident. You will decide to go for it rather than holding back.
I'm going to run through a list of the most important ones today. This is an interactive episode. You will get a chance to put your learning into practice straight away.
