Depending on who you are, where you're from, what your values are and the perspective you see...there will be many different definitions of what "success" is. It's a multiple meaning word...what it means to you and what it means to me can be totally different.
For me, success in my life can be measured by two overarching things:
PROGRESS AND PURPOSE

Are you in the middle of a battle right now? Pretty much all of the last year felt like a battle field to me.
What if I told you that I know with 100% certainty how to win any battle you're in? Would you listen?
If you are experiencing something tough today, take a listen, then share this episode with a friend. They need to hear this message, too.
I talk about one of my favorite songs from 2020 in this episode and was really the foundation for the message.

We know that as believers, we are called to a greater purpose in Christ than any plan we could have for ourselves. And if we just submit to His plan for our lives and quit trying to do it all ourselves, He will work it all out for our good.
Just bring Him what you have with a willing and obedient heart!

Yay! We are all here, gathered Around the Campground for the launch of Season 2! I am so thankful you're here and I can't wait to share with you this season!

What is something you’re having to decide in your life right now? Do you feel like you’re stuck trying to make a decision and you don’t know which path to take? Are you praying for God to answer a prayer in a specific way that would make life easiest for you, but realize that if His plans are different, you can confidently say that you want God's will above your own?
If you’re at one of these forks in the road today, I know what that feels like. You’re not alone and God will get you on the right path. Trust in Him that the path he lays out for you is best.

What does it take to have spiritual endurance?
How do we keep focused in our faith and keep running the race when the finish line is nowhere in sight?
Why is growing up so hard to do?
How do we maintain a true friendship with God as we get older and grow in our spiritual maturity?
We have to remember that FAITH is more than a FEELING!

It sounds easy when we say it to people…”just get some thicker skin”, but what if you’re not made with thick skin? What if you have thin skin…like me. I can’t ever have thick enough skin to keep myself from harm. I can’t fight the darkness and the schemes of the enemy on my own. But, with the armor of God, I will be prepared for any battle. Skin can be broken, but God’s armor is indefensible. So the next time someone tells you to just get over something, or don’t let it bother you, or grow some thicker skin. Remember that you don’t have to change who you are, you just have to be ready to fight evil with the armor of God because the victory is already His.

What’s going on in that little noggin of yours? How do you talk to yourself? What lies has the enemy told you that has now become your constant inner dialogue?
Humans have up to 60,000 thoughts a day and research shows that up to 80% of those thoughts are negative. We've got to fight back those lies and the fake news with God's good news, His TRUTH!

Part 2
If you didn't get a chance to listen to Episode 25 called "Holding onto Hurt", make sure you give that one a listen, too!
In today's episode we discuss:
What's the prescription for healing bitterness?
How can we produce good fruit when there's a bitter root growing in our heart?
What if the world says you have the "right" to be bitter?
I'm so glad you are joining me around the campground! I'd love to connect with you!

What is bitterness? Have you ever experienced it? Do you know someone that seems to be living with that root of bitterness in their lives? Is that root in your life?
You're probably not like me, you've probably never had a problem with something as dirty as bitterness, but just in case you know somebody that has, please listen.
There are three different barriers that form when bitterness is present in your life. This is part one of a two-part podcast. Today is just the start, next week, we will talk about how to move past it.
Thank you for being with me around the campground. I'd be honored if you share this podcast with a friend and, if you love it, leave a review!

Now more than ever, we have to be rooted in truth. And that truth is found in God’s word.
Now more than ever, we must put on the WHOLE armor of God, practice mercy, grace, forgiveness, compassion and love.

What I’m going to talk about today might be controversial to some, maybe not, I’m eager to hear your feedback. All I can do is speak from my own personal experience and what the Lord has taught me, especially over the last few years.
Here's the big idea...comparison is a killer!

If there is anything I’m certain of after walking through the last 2 months of this world-wide virus is that’s normal is no more. Things will NEVER be back to what they were just a few months ago. And in a lot of cases, I truly believe that is for the best.

Samson was betrayed by a beautiful woman. David was hunted by Saul, and eventually by his own son. Job lost his family and fortune. All but one of the disciples was martyred. Paul wrote some of our most encouraging scripture was written by Paul in a prison cell.
It’s no secret that God’s people can and will experience pain and hardship.
But we must also realize that we can have true, authentic & unspeakable peace, even in the midst of hardship.
Listen as we go through Philippians 4:6-7 and dive into a devotional on peace!

I want to tell you something today that I hope and pray frees you….quit apologizing for what you’re passionate about. Quit making excuses for the person God made you to be. Yes, I’m sure most people on the planet could find something they would like to change about themselves, but there are many more things that are incredibly unique and beautiful that we should be focusing on. You may feel like you’re too much for some people and not enough for others, stop believing those lies.

What’s my purpose?
Have you ever asked yourself that question?
How do you start your journey toward finding your purpose?
Start by recognizing that you DO have PURPOSE and don’t look for a big neon sign to spell it out for you. It takes a time of discovery, listening to God, serving others, taking risks and going courageously down the path God is leading you.
Walk through these 7 steps with me as we all travel the journey of finding purpose together!

What did you say? Ennea-what? I talk about the Enneagram all the time and since a lot of us have some extra time on our hands right now, I thought I'd share about something I'm passionate about...the Enneagram!
This tool and personality typing system is so interesting to this nerd heart of mine and it's helped me to learn more about myself, my close friends and family and started me on a journey to becoming a healthier version of myself!
In this episode, I give you lots of resources and basic information to get you started! If you have any questions, DM me on Instagram and I'll do my best to answer them or point you in the right direction!
Also, be on the lookout for a new project that Isabelle and I will be releasing soon! We can't wait to share it with you!
