Silly Old Bear is an audio drama adaptation of A. A. Milne's beloved Winnie-the-Pooh. It's made as much for young children as their older siblings, and parents, and grandparents. If you grew up with these stories - or if you just want something cute, light hearted, and fun to keep you company - this audio drama is for you! In this show, instead of telling the story to Christopher Robin, the narrator is telling it to you. The cast brings new voices to the characters you know and love, creating a fresh take on the familiar tale and a new adaptation of the story you know and love. Take a break and join us in the hundred acre wood. Not affiliated with Disney.

Welcome to The Gingerbread House, a tiny cottage deep in the woods that is made out of sugary treats and home to a friendly witch. Come inside, get comfortable, and listen to some familiar-yet-not-so-familiar fairy tales. There is more than one side to every story, and more to this fantasy world than first meets the eye. But the fire is warm, the kettle is boiled, and there's an empty chair calling your name, poppet. Do stay a while.

This is a weekly podcast of funny stories for kids. There are side-splitting versions of my own fractured fairy tales. Also short stories from some of my best-selling books, featuring characters from 'The Adventures of Nanny Piggins' and 'Friday Barnes, Girl Detective'. The stories are perfect for bedtime, long car rides or even if you're just stuck waiting a really long time at the doctor's office. They're written for 7-11 year olds but these are tales the whole family can enjoy. The silliness is ageless. I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoy recording it. After years of being a children's author, typing away in my office with only my goldfish for company, I was bursting to tell my stories out-loud and with lots of silly voices! So please - sit back, get comfy and enjoy some amazing, some silly and some just plain ludicous tales direct from my imagination to you.

Boston Blackie is a fictional character who has been on both sides of the law. As originally created by author Jack Boyle, he was a safecracker, a hardened criminal who had served time in a California prison. Prowling the underworld as a detective in adaptations for films, radio and television, the detective Boston Blackie was "an enemy to those who make him an enemy, friend to those who have no friend."
The Boston Blackie radio series, starring Chester Morris, began June 23, 1944, on NBC as a summer replacement for The Amos 'n' Andy Show. Sponsored by Rinso, the series continued until September 15 of that year. Lesley Woods appeared as Blackie's girlfriend Mary Wesley, and Harlow Wilcox was the show's announcer.
On April 11, 1945, Richard Kollmar took over the title role in a radio series syndicated by Frederic W. Ziv to Mutual and other network outlets. Over 200 episodes of this series were produced between 1944 and October 25, 1950. Other sponsors included Lifebuoy Soap, Champagne Velvet beer and R&H beer. -

This is a story about a little lamb who yearned for adventure. A yearning that leads him far from home. To a worn and crumbly zoo, once the marvel of London. A zoo whose ruin began one night long ago, when a simple flag went missing. A ruin which might, just might, be reversed by the unriddling of the flag's disappearance...
Written by B.G. Gorsky and read by Jonathan Bryson.
