In this episode, Dave sat down with Luka Nižetić who is about to compete in Dora for the fifth time. His entry for 2025 is "Južina", and he's hoping to improve on his 2019 result where he came in 3rd place! Južina is a wind specific to the Dalmatia region of Croatia, and when it blows ... well, you'll have to listen to the episode to find out what happens, according to Luka! In this episode, Sebi and Dave take a peek into Montenegro's return to the Eurovision Song Contest, as they chat with one of the artists in the running to get Montenegro back to its first Grand Final since 2015 - it's the lovely Đurđa from Kotor! She is one of the 16 artists competing in Montesong, and this marks her first Eurovision national final performance. After we politely asked her to pronounce her name for us, she went on to explain the meaning behind her song "To ljubav je", and what we might expect from the live Montesong show on 27th November!
Several times during our chat, Đurđa refered to "less is more" - a phrase that explains not only her beautiful ballad, but also her approach to staging. We'll know very soon if her gamble will pay off and send her to Basel!
