Tiana Sanchez shares practical tips on how to use civility in leadership and shares how this will help you to build a better company. Discover how respect, clear communication, and purpose-driven leadership can transform your organization and inspire your team to thrive.

This episode drops just as we are in the middle of an election cycle and Tiana Sanchez's message on civility in leadership couldn’t be more on point. She is a powerhouse in leadership, a respected speaker, and CEO of TSI LLC. In our episode she dives deep into the importance of civil leadership and how respect can transform our environments and our workplaces. As the world feels more divided than ever, with tensions and conflicts spilling into our professional lives, Tiana brings a fresh approach that centers on respect, empathy, and a strong sense of community. Her bestselling book, The New C-Suite: Civil Leadership in Action offers a practical blueprint for leaders ready to drive real change, build collaborative teams, and foster a work environment where everyone feels valued.

Tiana’s journey into civil leadership began during a pivotal moment at a conference. Inspired by a company with an incredible commitment to employee well-being, social responsibility, and environmental impact, she shares how Patagonia—a certified B Corp—practices what it preaches, blending ethical practices with high standards for governance, community, and sustainability.

During our conversation, Tiana and I explore how civil leadership goes beyond traditional management styles to create an inclusive, purpose-driven workplace culture. Tiana walks us through her unique framework, built around three core facets: collective social responsibility, community-first thinking, and creative synthesis. Through collective social responsibility, she encourages leaders to consider the bigger impact they’re making on employees, customers, and society.

And here’s the beauty of civil leadership—it’s not just for big corporations. Tiana explains that whether you’re running a small business, managing a team, or even working as a solo entrepreneur, you can adopt civil leadership principles to foster a respectful, supportive, and socially responsible culture. She even offers a preview of her civil leadership evaluation, a tool with questions and exercises to help leaders assess how respect, community impact, and social responsibility are showing up in their work.

A powerful takeaway is when Tiana talks about the "like-hungry" culture of social media and how it impacts modern leadership. Business and civil leaders can easily get trapped in echo chambers, seeking validation instead of real connection. True leadership, she reminds us, requires courage—the courage to welcome disagreement and to push beyond surface-level affirmation.

I invite you to tune in and join us for this thought-provoking conversation that challenges the status quo of leadership and how you chose to handle an o

What’s your revenue limit and how can you break through to the $1 Mill? In this episode, we explore the critical steps you need to finally unlock your earning potential.

In this episode of The Business Growth Architect Show, I guide you through one of the biggest challenges many entrepreneurs face: breaking through the $1 million revenue barrier. Only 4% of entrepreneurs achieve this goal.

If you've been working hard but find yourself stuck at the same revenue level year after year, this episode is for you. I call this cycle the “infinity loop.” Revenue might improve at times, but it often cycles back. Let’s explore the strategies I’ve used to help countless business owners break through the three main obstacles holding them back and achieve real business growth past that $1 Mill mark.

The three essential elements that need alignment are mindset, skillset, and action set. Listen to the show to get all the details.

I also share my experience as a facilitator for the Entrepreneurs’ Organization Accelerator Program, where I’ve helped many reach the million-dollar milestone. This success didn’t happen by chance. I created a structured, strategic process and a curriculum that I’ll walk you through in this episode. We’ll go over why peer-to-peer support works better than traditional masterminds, which often fall short when you’re in the trenches of business growth. I’ve found that consistency, accountability, and breaking goals into 90-day action plans are key to achieving lasting success. Here’s a compelling statistic: taking this approach increases your chances by 75%.

I’m also thrilled to introduce my $1 Million Revenue Barrier Forum, a peer-to-peer accountability group designed specifically for consultants and business owners committed to reaching the million-dollar mark. This program follows a curriculum broken into 90-day segments, focusing on key business areas like revenue generation, team building, and system implementation. The best part? You’ll work directly with me each month, with my full support to keep you on track. This isn’t an online course or traditional mastermind where you’re left on your own. This is a Forum built for accountability, peer-to-peer support, and proven strategies that deliver.

The Forum model is a framework used by major organizations like EO, Vistage, YPO, and more because it creates consistency and keeps you engaged, motivated, and accountable. And, we go deep to remove unconscious barriers to success, money stories and much more. Join a community of like-minded entrepreneurs, all striving for success. I’m personally involved because I know the power of consistent, monthly check-ins. This is how real growth happens—through ongoing support and intentional action.

If you’re a consultant or business owner ready to make a bigger impact and break through revenue barriers, this episode outlines tangible steps you can take. Enrollme

Empathy, connection, and authenticity helps you to lead more effectively, build stronger relationships, and create a thriving workplace. Jennifer shows you that when you embrace your humanity, you unlock your team’s full potential.

In this powerful episode of the Business Growth Architect Show, I sit down with Jennifer Nash, the author of Be Human, Lead Human, to dive into what it means to lead with humanity in today’s fast-paced and ever-changing workplace. Jennifer, who is the founder and CEO of Jennifer Nash Coaching and Consulting, shares how you can elevate your leadership beyond traditional methods and embrace a more human-centered approach to leadership. She reveals why being human—not just managing tasks—is the real key to unlocking both personal and professional success.

Jennifer and I explore the key differences between old-school, command-and-control leadership style and a new, more evolved version of leadership that puts people first. The old model of leadership appeals to leaders who feel that leading means that they have to have all the answers, make all the decisions, and dictate directions to their teams.

Jennifer explains that the future leader is someone who doesn’t just manage people but coaches and facilitates them. She describes how this kind of leader enables team members to collaborate, share ideas, and reach common goals more effectively. A successful leader today is one who asks for help, makes others feel valued, and creates a safe space for people to express themselves and grow.

Jennifer also shares her perspective on why leadership training is often delayed by an average of 15 years leading to ineffective management and frustrated employees. She explains why companies must equip leaders with the tools they need to succeed early on, focusing not just on technical skills but on emotional and relational skills that foster better teamwork and collaboration.

Jennifer introduces her concept of the Human Leader Index, a unique tool that helps leaders assess their human and relational capabilities. The index provides leaders with a clear picture of where they stand and offers recommendations on areas for improvement. Jennifer emphasizes that true leadership is not just about hitting performance metrics or achieving KPIs—but about building a deeper connection with your team, making them feel heard, and helping them to succeed.

Jennifer’s message is simple: being human in your leadership approach is the key to unlocking not only your own potential but the potential of everyone around you. She believes that when you as the leader focus on the whole person—recognizing your team's personal and professional dimensions—you create an environment where everyone feels empowered to succeed.

Shelly breaks down practical, easy-to-follow steps to help you find your first 20 clients. Learn how to simplify your marketing, connect authentically with potential clients, and build a strong foundation for your business!

In this episode of the Business Growth Architect Show, I speak with Shelly Niehaus, published author, speaker and the host of the top-rated EDUCATED EMPOWERED INSPIRED podcast. Shelly shares how to break free from the complexities and crazy making ideas of traditional marketing strategies and instead embrace a simpler, more intuitive approach to connecting with your audience. If you're tired of feeling overwhelmed by the endless advice of buying-one-more-thing in internet marketing and are ready to find a method that truly resonates with both you and your clients, this conversation is for you.

Shelly begins by addressing one of the most common challenges faced by entrepreneurs and business owners today: the tendency to overcomplicate marketing. With so many voices in the industry offering conflicting advice, it's easy to lose sight of what matters—building genuine connections with your audience.

She breaks down how to eliminate the noise and focus on what truly matters—having authentic conversations with prospects about their real needs and challenges. By simplifying your approach and focusing on building genuine relationships, you can create content that not only connects but also invites your audience to engage with you on a deeper level. This, Shelly argues, is the key to attracting your first 20 clients and beyond.

One of the central themes of our discussion is the importance of aligning your inner compass with your business strategy. Shelly explains in simple terms how your internal state—your faith, spirituality, and overall mindset—directly impacts how you show up for your clients and the opportunities that come your way.

Shelly explores the concept of “meeting yourself where you are” in your spiritual development. She shares that it’s not about adhering to a rigid set of beliefs or trying to outdo others in spirituality. Rather, it’s about finding a connection to something greater than yourself—a source, energy, or belief system that guides you in your personal and professional life.

Shelly also touches on the importance of giving yourself grace and the freedom to explore different ways of connecting with your inner self. She encourages listeners to break free from the confines of how they were taught to connect spiritually and instead find what truly resonates with you.

Discover the 7 Marketing Strategies that make you uncopyable, actionable tips from Daniel Den to discover your X factor and make your business stand out and be unforgettable to your customers.

In this episode of the Business Growth Architect Show, I talk to marketing strategist Daniel Den, co-creator of the X Factor Effect and author of Ideas That Influence. Daniel’s story is not just one of success but of resilience, innovation, but his mission - the pursuit of creating something uncopyable. He shares a candid recount of his early triumph in 2009 when he hit the jackpot with a website that was raking in $1,000 a day, setting him on the path to early retirement—or so he thought. But just as quickly as his success soared, it was nearly dismantled by a flood of copycat competitors who ripped off his winning formula. This painful experience led Daniel to a pivotal realization: to survive and thrive in the business world, you must differentiate yourself to the point where you become uncopyable.

Daniel’s journey didn’t end with his website being copied. Instead, it ignited a fire in him to explore the art of differentiation at a much deeper level. Over the past 12 years, he has honed his craft, helping over 20,000 students and clients across various industries carve out a niche that is entirely their own. Through his X Factor Effect methodology, Daniel has guided businesses in becoming market leaders, or as he likes to call them, "category kings and queens."

One of the core themes of our conversation is the idea of being deliberately different. Daniel argues that every successful brand has an X factor—something that sets it apart and makes it memorable. He breaks down the process of identifying and cultivating this X factor, emphasizing that it’s not just about being creative; it’s about being strategically creative. He shares examples from his book, *Ideas That Influence,* like the story of Listerine’s genius marketing move in the early 1900s when they owned the word "halitosis" and became synonymous with curing bad breath.

A significant portion of our conversation also dives into the emotional and spiritual aspects of branding. Daniel and I explore how authentic storytelling, rooted in vulnerability and genuine purpose, can elevate a brand from simply selling a product to making a meaningful connection with customers.

Daniel talks about how spiritual alignment and emotional authenticity are not just buzzwords, but essential components of a brand that stands out. We discuss how brands that tap into a deeper purpose and resonate on an emotional level with their audience are the ones that leave a lasting legacy.

I invite you to dive deeper into Daniel Den’s world by visiting his website and checking out his book, Ideas That Influence. And if you found this episode valuable, please share it with your network. Let’s spread the word and help more people discover the power of the X Factor Effect.

Unlock the secrets to building strong character and mastering communication skills with Meredith Bell. Lead in your personal and professional relationships with these insights!

In this episode of the Business Growth Architect Show, I sit down with Meredith Bell, co-founder of Grow Strong Leaders, to explore the profound impact of character and communication on personal and professional development. Meredith's commitment to fostering strong leadership skills show as we explore essential aspects of growth and self-awareness.

Meredith shares her morning rituals to set the tone for her day. She emphasizes the importance of declarations, powerful affirmations that guide her mindset and actions. One of her key declarations is, “Every person is worthy of my love and not one person is worthy of my judgment.” This simple statement serves as her compass, helping Meredith recalibrate her reactions and approach interactions with empathy and understanding, even in moments of irritation or frustration.

We discuss the significance of approaching interactions from a place of love rather than judgment. Meredith explains how this mindset shift can prevent us from jumping to conclusions and making assumptions about others’ behaviors.

Meredith introduces the beautiful concept of “standing in receivership,” a practice of being open to new ideas and intuitive nudges from the universe. This openness, she explains, is a critical aspect of personal growth and self-awareness. By listening to these subtle signals, we can navigate our paths with greater clarity and purpose. Meredith’s insights encourage us to balance rational thinking with intuitive wisdom, embracing both as essential components of our decision-making processes.

Open-mindedness, as Meredith highlights, is a vital character strength that invites growth and learning. Being open to new ideas and perspectives allows us to elevate ourselves and those around us. This willingness to learn and adapt is a continuous journey, one that enhances our ability to lead with integrity and authenticity.

Unlock the secrets to constant self-improvement and achieving more, faster! Join me as I share practical tips as well as spiritual insights. Learn how to overcome life challenges, boost your mindset, and take action toward success!

Today’s topic is worth a solo episode. I dive deep into the essential elements for personal and professional growth. With 40 years of entrepreneurial experience under my belt, I've learned that a well-rounded skill set, a solid strategic framework, and consistent action are key to running any successful business.

First I cover the three key aspects: mindset, skill set, and action. The right mindset lays the foundation for growth. It involves a firm belief in the possibility of achieving your goals and is open to continuous learning. Next, comes the necessity of having the right skill sets, such as how to outline a strategy, understanding and implementing effective processes, and mastering workflows. Finally, there is the third component which is taking consistent action.

Transitioning into a more vulnerable and personal narrative, I explore how integrating spiritual and strategic approaches has shaped my journey. I share my vision of being a "badass grandma," a persona that encapsulates my vast entrepreneurial experience and my dedication to making the most of my time. What I mean by that is that at this point in my life I prioritize my commitments, opting for meaningful engagements over superficial networking activities. Facetime with my grandchild versus helping someone figure out how to sell me something?!

Diving deeper into my personal life, I talk about the importance of family and intimate relationships. I reflect on my desires to be a loving grandparent, maintain a fulfilling partnership, and create lasting memories with loved ones. This introspection leads me to a broader question: What is the ultimate goal of our endeavors? What is that “there” we are all striving for? For me, it's about arriving at a place where you can look back and say, "The journey was awesome, and I am grateful for where I am now."

To help you achieve your own goals, I share my method of reverse engineering success. AKA shortcuts. By defining your end goals clearly and then working backward to identify the necessary steps, you ensure that the journey is as rewarding as the destination, allowing for a balanced and fulfilling life while you get there and then knowing when you arrived.

I also share my spiritual practices, which play an essential role in my life. LIsten to the episode to find out what I do.

My goal in this episode is to inspire you to seek continuous self-improvement and to integrate spiritual and strategic practices into your life. I hope to connect on a personal level, sharing my experiences and encouraging you to pursue your aspirations with determination and balance.

As this episode is pretty personal I invite you to share your thoughts and insights by commenting or reaching out on social media. Do you resonate with my "badass grandma" approa

“Elevate your tech and IT team from hidden workers stuck in the basement to strategic powerhouses in the boardroom.”

Admittedly I am a bit of a geek myself. That’s why I asked supergeek Douglas Squirrel, expert in technology and business strategy to join me on the Business Growth Architect Show.. Together, we explore the potential of technology teams and how business owners can leverage their IT departments.

Douglas challenges the common misconception that IT departments are mere support functions. Instead, he argues that technology teams can be a driving force behind your company's success if integrated properly into the broader business strategy. Involving tech experts in strategic discussions and customer interactions can lead to innovative solutions and significant cost savings. Wait until you hear the story of the kid stranded hungry at McDonalds on the helpline with the IT guy and what happened as a result of it.

One key takeaway from our conversation is the importance of breaking down silos between departments. Douglas states that tech people often possess unique insights that can transform operations and processes. By bringing them into early sales conversations, hiring plans, and off-site meetings, companies can harness their expertise to avoid rollout problems, optimize customer service with AI, and even expand into new markets with automated translations.

CEOs should look at their IT departments as a source of profit and innovation rather than just a cost center.

We also touch on the broader impact of technology on business. He warns that companies who fail to embrace and integrate technology risk being left behind by more agile competitors. This perspective is make or break for any business looking to compete in today's fast-paced, tech-driven world.

Engage further with Douglas's and visit him at https://douglassquirrel.com/ to learn more about his services. Not so jokingly Douglas offers you a fun, interactive certificate that you can use to engage your tech teams with insightful questions.

This episode is a must-watch for business owners, CEOs, and anyone interested in the intersection of technology and business strategy and how to break down silos between departments that are all touched by IT.

Subscribe to the Business Growth Architect Show, leave a five-star review, and share this episode with colleagues and friends who could benefit from a fresh perspective on technology's role in business. Unlock the power of podcasting to skyrocket your business growth! Join us as Tom Schwab reveals proven strategies to enhance your brand presence, attract your ideal customers, and build lasting relationships through podcasting!

In this episode of the Business Growth Architect Show, I connect with Tom Schwab about one of my favorite topics: podcasting. Tom is the founder of Interview Valet and a pioneer in podcast marketing. Tom brings his extensive experience and passion for podcast guesting to the table, offering clear steps on how you can leverage podcast appearances to elevate your expert status and reach your ideal audience.

Tom begins by sharing his core philosophy on the importance of authentic introductions over traditional pitches. He makes it crystal clear that the term "pitch" feels impersonal and transactional, whereas an introduction to a conversation fosters a genuine connection. According to Tom, understanding both the host and the audience of the podcast are essential in crafting an outreach message that resonates and adds value.

We discuss the pitfalls of mass outreach, such as sending generic emails to hundreds of podcasts, which often end up in spam folders. Instead, Tom advises focusing on a select few podcasts that align with your message and audience. He suggests a methodical approach: listen to the podcast, engage with its content, leave reviews, and interact on social media before reaching out.

A key theme in our episode is the idea of giving before asking. Tom references Gary Vaynerchuk's philosophy of "jab, jab, jab, right hook," which translates to offering value multiple times before making a pitch. He provides practical examples of how to do this, such as sharing valuable insights, promoting the podcast on your platforms, and suggesting specific topics for discussion.

Tom also touches on the importance of creating a lasting impression during your podcast appearance. He shares stories of guests who treated podcast interviews as mere transactions, failing to engage with the host or promote the episode afterward, which ultimately damaged their reputation.

The conversation moves to the mission of Interview Valet, which aims to introduce inspiring thought leaders to millions of people for the betterment of all. Tom shares his criteria for selecting clients, focusing on those who have a positive and impactful message.

We also explore the spiritual and strategic aspects of podcast guesting. We discuss how meaningful conversations can spark new ideas and change perspectives, contributing to personal and professional growth.

If you’re ready to take your expert status to the next level, don’t miss this insightful conversation with Tom Schwab. Visit https://interviewvalet.com/ to access valuable resources and explore how you can use targeted podcast interviews to reach your ideal customers.

In this episode of the Business Growth Architect Show, we go deep into a transformative conversation with Rachel Rider, an Executive Leadership coach who works with C-Level executives who is known for her integration of spirituality and holistic practices into her coaching methods.

Rachel’s approach challenges the conventional image of Executive Leadership coaching, which often focuses solely on performance metrics and strategic goals. Instead, she emphasizes the importance of a spiritual practice, noting that most successful people she knows have some form of spiritual grounding. This, she believes, is essential for tapping into deeper sources of wisdom and resilience.

Rachel's approach combines cognitive awareness, somatic experiencing, and shamanic principles. Rachel discusses the critical importance of understanding our basic survival mechanisms—fight, flight, freeze, or fawn—and how these deeply ingrained responses can either hinder or enhance our leadership abilities.

Rachel shares her early start with Zen Buddhist practices at the age of 13, highlighting how meditation and mindfulness laid the foundation for her understanding of how the mind works. She emphasizes the value of meditation in noticing thought patterns and discerning which thoughts serve us and which do not.

Rachel integrates somatic experiences to address the nervous system's responses. She discusses how understanding where our nervous system is stuck due to past trauma can help you to resolve feeling paralyzed and unable to make decisions or push through anxiety faster.

Adding yet another layer to her Executive Leadership coaching approach, Rachel explores her training in shamanism and her work with crystals. She shares how her connection to the natural world and understanding of energy dynamics have profoundly influenced her coaching practice. Rachel's relationship with the natural world, guided by her training under a Taoist stone expert, underscores her belief in the palpable presence of energy and its impact on our interactions and decisions.

If you are curious about Rachel’s methods and looking to start your own journey, she offers practical advice on connecting with your authentic selves. She suggests a simple yet powerful exercise: reflecting on moments during the week when you felt most like themselves.

Rachel Rider’s unique blend of cognitive, somatic, and spiritual practices offers a transformative path for leaders seeking more than just conventional success. Her insights and methodologies provide a holistic framework that integrates mind, body, and spirit, paving the way for a more balanced, authentic, and effective leadership style.
