    Hey Pickles!

Well, did you have global Microsoft outage on your 2000 bingo card? Neither did we!

Due to the outage, Christine's Sister & her husband were unable to fly home. Christine has been pet sitting for them, and needs to extend her stay out of town.

This means she was unable to make it back to the Ol' Compassion & Cucumbers studio so that we could record a new episode!

We're releasing this replay of Ep 104 of the show. This episode is worth another listen as we discuss the ways that the dairy industry is influencing youth!

We also talk about a student that joins a law suit against the USDA, and her school district after her school prevented her from handing out information about the effects of dairy on the heath of her fellow students.

We have a recipe from our From Our Vegan Kitchen series that's near & dear to Christine's heart.

We also have a Listener Shout Out, and all the usual shenanigans that you've come to know & love (hopefully 😊)

Thanks so much for your understanding in this situation, and enjoy the episode!

    Hey Pickles!

We hope this episode finds you well.

Fair warning: There is talk of animal abuse in this episode.

Our Main Topic this week is the incredible investigation done by Animal Rising into the fraud that is the RSPCA Assurance Scheme. The RSPCA is supposed to be looking out for the welfare of animals, but has fraudulently approved the conditions on many farms in England and Scotland. Through the brave investigative work of Animal Rising, these farms have been found to have deplorable conditions. They found sick and dying animals, animals in overcrowded and confined conditions, and a multitude of severe infractions to the very laws that the RSPCA is supposed to be upholding.

We urge you to read their thorough report here: https://www.animalrising.org/_files/ugd/80f7b1_312aaf59f84e462fa13ae8d355c2cf02.pdf
