In this episode, Kasia Śliwak, one of the Top Employers Institute's employees share her extensive experience and knowledge about mobility.
According to Deloitte, we live in a fast-paced, mobile and data driven world where geography is no longer a barrier to prompt and effective service delivery, social media has heightened user expectations of instant communication and collaboration, and data is fueling business insight. Nowhere are these changes more apparent than in the world of global mobility, where by definition instant global access to data and service via mobile platforms is critical.
But what employee relocation really means to both employer and employee, how the process looks like, what steps need to be considered and why companies decide to relocate employees. These, any many other topics are discussed in today's podcast.
My guest on the show is Kasia Śliwak who is an HR professional with nearly 10 years of experience in a global environment in various areas of HR (with scope across Western and Central Eastern Europe incl. positions with exposure and execution of European labor law, system implementations, restructuring, business support, HR consulting, auditing, people and vendor management).

The world is changing fast and the need for leaders is bigger than ever.
We see organizations create programs to develop the potential in leaders but why the leadership gap is widening despite so many initiatives? Our today's guest, Magdalena Gera-Pikulska, talks about this and other aspects of leadership.
She answers many questions, among others:
How to recognize natural born leaders? What is the difference between a leader and a boss? How can companies make leadership programs work and be effective? How true leaders get along with failure? How women are perceived when we talk about leadership and why do we still have so little women on the C levels in the organizations? The quotes used in the converations come from the following TED Talks:
"Leaders can let you fail and yet not let you be a failure." by Stanley McChrystal
Stanley McChrystal: Listen, learn ... then lead
"Women are not making it to the top of any profession anywhere in the world" by Sheryl Sandberg

Today’s guest is Magdalena Gera-Pikulska, one of Poland's most established HR Executive with over 20 years of experience who was responsible for HR Strategy at T-Mobile, Deutsche Telecom a.o.
In this episode, you will learn:
