Host Anthony Desiato and guest Zach Moore (Always Hold On To Smallville) pick up right where they left off last week as they continue charting Clark's personal journey across the decade-long television series SMALLVILLE.
This week, they follow Clark into the so-called "Dropout Years," when he left college to run the farm after Jonathan's death and shied away from the destiny that awaited — even as he developed super-breath, encountered more of his future Justice League teammates, rounded up escaped Phantom Zone prisoners, and looked after Kara Zor-El.
Then, they enter the Metropolis Years, aka the final era of the show, in which Clark started working at the Daily Planet, embarked on a romantic relationship with Lois, developed a dual superhero identity (The Blur), and — at long last — reconciled both of his worlds before taking flight as Superman.

In Vol. III, Anthony and guest Michael Bailey (From Crisis to Crisis - The Married Years (A Superman and Lois Podcast)) discuss the evolution of Lex Luthor on the series. Originally played by actor Scott Wells in four Season 1 episodes, Lex was a contemporary of Clark who also attended Shuster University.

Host Anthony Desiato digs into the final days of Pre-Crisis Superboy — before the skies turned red and Clark Kent's past as Superboy was stripped from continuity in John Byrne's MAN OF STEEL reboot.
First, Anthony and guest Rob O'Connor (All Star Superfan Podcast) shine a light on an overlooked gem: the 1984-1985 miniseries SUPERMAN: THE SECRET YEARS by Bob Rozakis, Curt Swan, and Kurt Schaffenberger — with covers by Frank Miller! — which chronicled Clark Kent's junior year in college at Metropolis University and showed his transition from Superboy to Superman.
Then, Case Aiken (Men of Steel) tags in for the Post-Crisis storyline "The Greatest Hero of Them All" by John Byrne, Paul Levitz, and Greg LaRocque. Host Anthony Desiato digs into the Bronze Age comic book series THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERBOY, which ran for 54 issues from 1980-1984, in an epic 2-part discussion! First, Anthony welcomes Jon Wilson (JON READS COMICS) to compare notes on the run by writer Cary Bates and artist Kurt Schaffenberger, which gave the Kents a far larger, more active role in their son's training and highlighted the future Superman's growing pains in a new way.
Then, Rob O'Connor (ALL STAR SUPERFAN PODCAST) tags in to tackle writer Paul Kupperberg's run with Schaffenberger, which developed Superboy's supporting cast, gave Clark Kent a girlfriend, and saw Jonathan Kent in a bid for city council. They also discuss what Kupperberg had planned for the written, but unpublished, issue #55.

First, Anthony welcomes back Dan Greenfield (13th Dimension) to discuss the rare FILMATION SUPERBOY cartoons that aired on CBS from 1966-1969, which saw Superboy and Krypto contend with alien invaders, creatures running amok, and more.
