On tonight's episode of Global National:

But it's not a complete surprise as he's been under pressure for months – even Trudeau admitted the internal battles within his caucus made it clear he had to go.

Trudeau’s decision plunges the country into a period of political uncertainty at a precarious time – just before president-elect Donald Trump takes office in the U.S. again. This, all as Canadians fear Trump’s recent threats of 25 per cent trade tariffs may become a reality on January 20. -
