  • Welcome to this week’s episode of the Health Home Hustle podcast! Today I am joined by a very special guest: Skin Diligent’s co-founder Tule Park. If you’ve been tuning into the last few episodes of the show, you’ll already be familiar with Skin Diligent as they’re our current show sponsor.

Tule is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to ALL things skincare and cosmeceuticals. As you’ll hear in this episode, Tule is forensically interested in health, the interconnectedness of the systems within our bodies, the impact our lifestyle choices can have on our gene expression, and how products and other factors can have an impact on our hormones.

Yes, we’re talking skincare, but we discuss SO much more!

Having worked with a number of Korean cosmeceutical companies earlier on in her career, Tule had a clear vision for a European based cosmeceutical brand, focused on improving skin health, reinforcing the skin barrier, and getting results with intelligent delivery systems for proven active botanical ingredients. The result is Skin Diligent—a beautiful primarily natural cosmeceutical brand which truly delivers on its promises via targeted skincare and supplements.

In this episode Tule and I really deep dive into what it means to have ‘healthy skin’. And spoiler, it may not mean what you think it means!

    We address topics including:

    - what our endocrine system is, and its relevance when it comes to skincare choices

    - sensitive skin, what it means and how you can still use products which include wonder-ingredients like Vitamin C

    - the difference between moisturisation and hydration

    And so much more!

This episode is a BIG skincare deep-dive which may just change your perception on what having ‘healthy-looking’ skin really means.

    Enjoy!

  • Let’s talk all things career! Specifically, how you can align your career ambitions with your life ambitions. And how not to burn out while in the pursuit of both! In this week’s episode I’m welcoming Dr Sam Lynch, affectionately known as Sam, to weigh in on the subject.

Sam is an academic, business innovation lead, marketer and working Mum. Sam leverages her experience to help high-achieving women to have fulfilling careers and enjoy the experience along the way!

Whether you are in your early career, heading for the Board, an academic, exploring a side-hustle, a new/working mum, an employee or entrepreneur, Sam’s personal brand and career strategy framework is designed to help you work smarter and help you deliver on your career goals. Sam describes herself as “a personal trainer but for your career.”

During our conversation Sam and I talk about pursuing a career which works for you, and what you want from life. We cover how to get clear on your career goals, achievable steps you can take to see real change, negotiation and much more.

Sam and I also talk about big life shifts like preparing for parenthood. Our whole conversation is about aligning your career ambitions with your life ambitions and working towards your aspirations without burning out. And as part of that we touch on one of my favourite topics—how to work smarter, not harder—and how to take control of your day to day.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your career, you want to progress or pivot or start a side-hustle, Sam shares SO much valuable advice you can put into action right away.

  • This week I’m welcoming Hana Miller, licensed acupuncturist, certified holistic health practitioner and founder of The Balanced Woman System—an online platform which helps women to heal themselves holistically using Chinese Medicine, Hormonal Balancing, Qi Gong and more—to the show.

In this episode Hana and I discuss holistic health, what it means to “see an entire person”, how we can all benefit from learning about the seasons (of life, a year, a day) and how we can maximise the 24hr clock using the Chinese Medicine clock.

We also discuss the elements—wood, water, earth, metal and fire—and how learning about our elemental constitution can help us to fully bring us into balance and “into our element”.

There is so much to take away from this conversation! I found Hana to be an incredibly peaceful, kind and intuitive person, as well as being phenomenally knowledgable.
