Hi everyone, we are back with another episode of our podcast allowing you to get to know people working behind the scenes of the crypto industry. Today we are joined by Alan Chiu who is the co-founder and CEO of Enya Labs, core contributor to Boba Network.
Welcome to the one hundred and fifteenth episode of the Inside Crypto Podcast. This episode was recorded on November 15th 2022. Today we talk about what happened with FTX, why TVL is an inaccurate metric and much more.
Thanks everyone for listening and don’t forget to tune in next week where we interview someone else in the cryptocurrency universe.
Topics Covered Today:
Alan, you’re here and with someone with such a variety of experience in fintech and crypto, I wanted to get your take on what happened with FTX?
I’ve seen a lot of calls for greater transparency in crypto while I was preparing that script? That goes against privacy but at the same time, maybe it is necessary, where do you fall on the transparency/privacy spectrum?
Now that this is out of the way, I really want to talk about Boba network and Enya labs. I think most crypto users are familiar with Boba, why don’t you fill us in on Enya labs?
When it comes to L2’s, some people are familiar with Optimism, Arbitrum etc… what is Boba doing that is different?
As a somewhat regular users I find all these scalability solutions exist in a vacuum,I don’t think any of them are easy enough for new crypto users to use yet… are we ever going to get to a place where L2’s become the on-ramp for people into crypto?
In that vein, you recently partnered with Banxa as your fiat on-ramp. That’s a great start, why did you end up choosing them out of all the possible solutions?
One of the thing that caught my eye was the ability to augment smart contracts with sophisticated algorithms? How does that work?
Crypto’s been through a terrible year but let’s try to be positive, what do you think we should expect on the horizon not just for crypto but Boba and Enya labs.

Hi everyone, we are back with another episode of our podcast allowing you to get to know people working behind the scenes of the crypto industry. Today we are joined by Oleg Fomenko, one of the co-founders of Sweatcoin and the Sweat economy. An app with over 120 million users encouraging people to get out there and build up a sweat.
Welcome to the one hundred and thirteenth episode of the Inside Crypto Podcast. This episode was recorded on October 31st 2022. Today we dive into the silent success story of the pay-to-move movement. Oleg explains how they are building a health and sustainable future for everyone.
Thanks everyone for listening and don’t forget to tune in next week where we interview someone else in the cryptocurrency universe.
Topics Covered Today:
Oleg, I think most people are familiar with Sweatcoin given all the media exposure you have received in the last year. What I would like for you to explain to our audience is what is the difference between Sweat and sweatcoin?
On the subject of differences, what about Stepn? Are you competing for the same users? Why do you think you both have gained so much traction?
Why do you think you onboarded so many users so fast? How do you plan to onboard the next 100 million users?
I want to bring this up early so we can get it out of the way. There have been questions about sustainability. How do you address those? Your litepaper shows that it will be increasingly difficult to earn SWEAT as time goes on. Won’t that disincentivize users?
Why did you partner with NEAR as opposed to other blockchains?
How does the inactivity fee work? Is it automatically deducted from your wallet? Is it charged? Are users okay with that?
On the roadmap, it says that you are moving to a DAO next year? How is that going to work? Will you be able to react fast enough to market changes in this structure?
Lastly, what is the most exciting thing if you had to choose one about sweatcoin and your future plans?

Thanks everyone for listening and don’t forget to tune in next week where we interview someone else in the cryptocurrency universe.

Andrew, let’s start of with this. Why are so many hacks happening in the crypto ecosystem? Will crypto ever stabilize in terms of hacks?
What are some ways protocols can prevent hacks? What about end users?
What are some of the threats that end users should be aware of?
You used to work at EY which is a hugely famous organization, what do you think is the current state of crypto adoption amongst such organizations? Why did EY start to explore blockchain?
You are now with Forta Network? Why did you make the switch? What are they doing differently from other security organizations?
I saw this on your LinkedIn: “~50% of smart contracts exploited in the last 4 years had emergency pause functionality. Only 1 was actually paused w/in first hour after exploit. “ Why do you think that is so?
What do you expect from web3 security in the next 5 years?
Forta’s doing so much already, what exciting developments can we expect next year?

Today we are joined by Rex, the Game Lead of Blood Vessels. Blood Vessels is unlike any project Kongregate has ever undertaken. Welcome to the one hundred and seventh episode of the Inside Crypto Podcast. This episode was recorded on October 4th 2022. Today Rex talk about the next play by gaming platform Kongregate. Why they are moving into the NFT space and what we should expect from their first take at blockchain gaming.

Thanks everyone for listening and don’t forget to tune in next week where we interview someone else in the cryptocurrency universe.
Topics Covered Today:
Rex, I have to ask. Kongregate is such a popular platform. How did you get them onboard with an NFT game given the mixed views in the public space?
How do you plan to onboard people into this game given some of the issues with people getting into crypto?
Your launching on ImmutableX? Why did you make this choice as opposed to other possible protocols?
I’d love for you to tell our viewers and listeners what Blood Vessels is about? How did you come up with?
There are quite a few NFT games at the moment? What are you trying to do differently?
The art looks amazing. Very period appropriate. Where did the inspiration for the style come from?
One of the tag lines on your twitter is “An immersive world shaped by you”. What do you mean by that? How do we shape the world?
What’s coming before the end of this year and what should we expect for next year?
If this goes well, should we expect kongregate to release more NFT games?

Topics Covered Today:
Tell me about the 3AC dashboard ?
What have you noticed recently?
Why have they kept their cryptopunks given the current state of the NFT market?
Tell me about the NFT landscape dashboard ?
Solana’s really been catching up to Ethereum in terms of transactions. What do you think will precipitate them becoming the dominant NFT ecosystem?
Looking at the data, we see X2Y2 growing in terms of daily traded volume. What do you think that is?
According to the dashboard, BNB is doing well. But why do you think they are lagging behind Solana?
Tell me about the price peg dashboard ?
What should someone take away after looking at this?
Why does USDC have so much volume but fewer users?
Why do stable coin deviations happen? Should people be concerned?
Tell me about the DEX volume dashboard?
What’s the most interesting thing about this dashboard?
Looking at volumes in 3pool. Almost everyone has gone down except BUSD, is that just because Binance is so far head of every other CEX?

Hi everyone, we are back with another episode of our podcast allowing you to get to know people working behind the scenes of the crypto industry. Today we catch up with Chris McGregor, the CEO of Vesto.io. Vesto is the turnkey blockchain solution for businesses to safely scale into the future of digital assets.
Welcome to the one hundred and third episode of the Inside Crypto Podcast. This episode was recorded on September 16th 2022. Today we dive into payments, remittances and how one company is paving the way for how companies interact with their customers.
I also would like to thank my employer Amun Tokens for making podcasts like this happen. Please don’t forget to check us out and our products at tokens.amun.com.
Thanks everyone for listening and don’t forget to tune in next week where we interview someone else in the cryptocurrency universe.
Topics Covered Today:
Before we dive into the nitty gritty of today’s topics Chris, why don’t you give our audience a high level overview of of what Vesto is about?
On your site you mention the benefits of crypto for not just people but organizations, what are some of the benefits you’d like our audience to know about?
When preparing for the show, I read a statistic from CNBC, 75% of retailers are preparing to accept crypto in two years? Do you think that is true? Is Vesto going to help with this?
You mention the unbanked and underbanked on your platform, how do you hope to solve this problem? Are you currently operating in the U.S or globally? How does KYC work in that instance?
One of the things I like about Vesto is the quick conversion between crypto and fiat. How is that achieved? Here in Taiwan, it’s easy to convert but I still have to wait at least 3 days before funds get into my bank account.
I’ve seen the word empowerment in a lot of crypto company websites, how are companies doing this in general? How is Vesto doing it?
The levels that the crypto market have dropped to, have been brutal on many companies, how are you coping? What’s your strategy for the future?
What’s something you want to end of today’s show on? What should people anticipate from Vesto in the next 1 year?

Topics Covered Today:
Tom, I could read something off a website but I love hearing from top level management. What is Simwin?
One of the first things anyone notices when they head to the site is Magic Johnson. How did you end up with so many famous names participating in Simwin?
What’s the current status of the site? Are regular people able to buy NFTs just yet?
For the celebrities participating by buying their own teams. What’s the motivation behind that? Is it like buying a team in real life? (Starting price 1.5 million USD)
How does esports play into this? This would be different from the typical esports or is there an actual game where we can watch people compete?
You had an event at NFT NYC, how did that go?
Where do you see Simwin going in the future? How do you expect to overcome some of the skepticism and aversion to NFTs? Are you aiming for this to be a niche market?
Lastly, what’s coming in 2023. What should people be excited for?

Hi everyone, we are back with another episode of our podcast allowing you to get to know people working behind the scenes of the crypto industry. Today we are joined by David Woodbury, founder of Yak Dao. They are developing a global luxury camping brand that fractionalizes ownership of recreational properties through NFT memberships. YAK is revolutionizing the way individuals can own and engage with real estate assets.
Welcome to the ninety-seventh episode of the Inside Crypto Podcast. This episode was recorded on September 1st 2022. Today we talk about one organization utilizing NFTs to help grow the glamping space. If you like the outdoors than this episode is not to be missed!
David, I could read something off a website but I love hearing from founders. What’s a high level way to describe Yak Dao?
You’ve spent a lot of time in the digital space, how did you make the jump to crypto and Web3?
What was your goal with Yak, given the negativity that exists against NFTs, how do you plan to encourage adoption?
Why would someone want to join Yak Dao? What do they need to contribute? How active do they need to be in your community?
I saw that you put an offer on a property in Northern California a month ago, how did that turn out? What are you planning to do there?
You’ve put out some beautiful NFTs, what was that process like? When will people be able to purchase them?
I have to ask this, how has the market affected what you are doing? Have things slowed down or are you continuing to build at the same pace?
I love asking this question since the future always makes me excited, what should we be excited about for the next 1 year when it comes to Yak Dao?
