With summer officially here, the Stanley Cup was awarded to the Colorado Avalanche after beating the two-time defending champion Tampa Bay Lightning in six games. The Blue Jays are struggling and have a big week ahead with Boston and Tampa Bay in town. Xander Schauffele held on to win the Travelers Championship. Arch Manning committed to the University of Texas and the NHL handed out its yearly awards. Matthew Fitzpatrick held off Scottie Scheffler and Will Zalatoris to win his first major and tournament at the U.S. Open. The Avalanche look really good through the first two games of the Stanley Cup Finals and Steph Curry and Warriors won their fourth NBA Title in eight years. The Blue Jays had a rough week and have lost Ryu for the remainder of the season. The Canadian Grand Prix returned to Montreal and there was no stopping Max Verstappen as he won his sixth race of the year. The Canadian Open was back big time this past weekend in Toronto with a stacked leaderboard that saw Rory McIlroy defend his title and go back-to-back. The Stanley Cup it set with Tampa Bay thinking three-peat and Colorado looking for their first since 2001. The NBA Finals are deadlocked through four games and a winner will be crowned this week, will it be Steph and the Warriors or will the Celtics emerge victorious? The Jays continued their hot June and look to keep rolling with the Yankees in town this weekend. The CFL kicked off the new season with four exciting games. The guys make five picks for the U.S. Open this week in Golf Pick'em and play some rapid fire before giving their Lock of the Week.

While one series looks one-sided, the Stanley Cup Playoffs have provided some great hockey after the opening week of games. The top four in the West and East all advanced to the second round of the NBA Playoffs with each series deadlocked through the first few games. Max Homa won the fourth tournament of his career at the Wells Fargo Championship where weather played a factor on Friday and Saturday. The Blue Jays dropped their first series of the season last week to the Yankees and Guardians and the NFL announced the five international games this season ahead of the 2022 schedule release this week. The boys picked the winner in back-to-back weeks in the Golf Pick'em, where Stark still holds a healthy lead. A new game is introduced and the guys give their Lock of the Week.

Toronto and Tampa Bay is one of the most intriguing matchups in the opening round as the Stanley Cup Playoffs begin this week. The NBA Playoffs moved onto the second round where Giannis and the Bucks made quite the statement in the series opener in Boston and Golden State took game one from Memphis. Jon Rahm went wire-to-wire at the Mexico Open for his first tour win in close to a year. The Blue Jays continued to roll, taking series over Boston and Houston last week. The Angels are off to a strong start among others after the first month of play. The NFL Draft did not disappoint as there were nine trades made in round one and 35 over the three days. Stark keeps his heavy lead in the weekly golf pick'em and the guys place some bets in Futures. Masaro took the tee away from Stark for the first time in a long while for the Lock of the Week.

The Blue Jays have won four of five series to start the season and sit atop their division. Thursday night will be a life changing night for many college athletes as the NFL Draft kicks off in Las Vegas, who is going to go #1? The Raptors and 76ers have been battling through injuries in their series, elsewhere the Eastern Conference contenders are leading the way, while the Western Conference is wide open in Round One. Cantlay and Schauffele opened with a 59 and didn't look back to take the Zurich Classic. The final week of the regular season has some teams jockeying for position while others are fighting to get into the NHL Playoffs. Vladdy is off to a hot start through the first ten games of the season and the Jays look to keep momentum rolling this week on the road. Jordan Spieth took home the RBC Heritage in a playoff after missing the cut at Augusta. The Raptors fell to the Sixers in game one and the Celtics-Nets looks like it will be the must watch match-up of round one. Four playoff spots remain in the NHL's Western Conference with two weeks remaining in the regular season. Clayton Kershaw was pitching a perfect game through seven innings last week before being pulled. Was it the right decision? The world's number one ranked golfer Scottie Scheffler took the lead on Friday and didn't let up to win the Masters and claim the coveted Green Jacket. The Blue Jays opened the 2022 season with a series win over the Rangers and Auston Matthews can't stop scoring, having now passed the Leafs franchise record for goals in a season. Canada learned their opponents for the World Cup and the NBA Playoffs are set to begin this week with the play-in games. March Madness is now complete with the Kansas Jayhawks taking home the National Championship. The Final Four saw UNC topping Duke as Coach K bid farewell and Kansas was too much for Villanova. JJ Spaun won his first tour title at the Valero Texas Open and with it booked his ticket for Augusta. Opening Day is around the corner with the Dodgers and Blue Jays among the favourites this season. The NFL sees changes to OT rules for the playoffs and Bruce Arians retires. No game of the week as the focus is on The Masters. The Sweet 16 and Elite 8 go this week with some exciting match ups in store. Sam Burns went back-to-back at Valspar and week two of the NFL off-season saw some big names get traded. The MLB and NHL both saw a flurry of transactions over the past week as one league gets set to begin, while one prepares for the final playoff push. Conditions played a factor in Florida again this week as the Players Championship became a five day event with Cameron Smith putting together a solid final round to get the win. The NFL off-season is off to a flying start with the return of Brady, Rodgers sticking with the Packers and Wilson traded to the Broncos all before free agency got into full swing. The brackets are built and the Madness is set to begin on Thursday in what truly could be anyone's tournament. The Leafs and Sabres met in the snowy Heritage Classic and Brad Gushue won his fourth Brier as skip all while playing short-handed throughout the playoffs. The Game of the Week returns with the Leafs and Red Wings combining for 17 goals on Saturday night. Another first time winner took the Honda Classic while on the hard court, the nations top six teams all lost this past weekend. The Western Conference has a number of teams all within close distance of each other, all while trailing the Avalanche for playoff positioning. With player movement expected to pick-up in a couple weeks the NFL Broadcast landscape looks as if some familiar faces could be trading places as well.
