This summer, USA Basketball and the WNBA announced a new training program for the Women’s National team ahead of the 2020 Olympics. A select group of eight players including Sylvia Fowles have committed to the initiative and will financially compensated to stay stateside. Cheryl Reeve is also currently an assistant coach for the National team. This episode is about Sylvia and Cheryl’s connection to USA Basketball and how this new program could be the start of something special.

After playing a major role on Minnesota’s 2017 WNBA championship team, Plenette Pierson went out on top and retired from the game of basketball. Less than two years later she finds herself as an assistant coach on Cheryl Reeve’s staff.
