Hello everybody! Rachel here introducing my new podcast Making it in Hollywood!
This weekly podcast is all about how to break in and succeed in the entertainment industry. Each episode will feature a young millennial in Hollywood. Our first few guests include TV writers, producers, and editors, a development coordinator at Disney, an executive assistant at Paramount, and a self made Youtuber with over one million subscribers.
Stay tuned to hear the lessons we’ve learned along the way, anecdotes from set and behind the scenes, and advice you’ll want to know if you’re also hoping to make it... or even if you just want to know more about what it’s like to work in Hollywood!
I’m your host Rachel Resnick, and I’ve spent the last five years working my way up in television post production. I’m currently working as a post production supervisor for a new Apple TV show and freelance editing for Youtube on the side. My other credits include working in post production on TV shows and TV movies for CBS, BET, Hulu, and TNT - but when I started my career I had NO connections and NO clue what work in Hollywood really meant.
So make sure to subscribe to this podcast wherever you listen as each week I am joined by a friend in the industry. We’ll be diving into the truth about Making It In Hollywood, since that’s the name of the show!
New podcasts will be uploaded weekly so hit subscribe and find out how you could be Making It In Hollywood!
