Starting to do research on any topic can feel overwhelming because of the sheer volume of information and options out there. This is especially true when the research pertains to a life change such as looking for a new job, researching ways to grow at your current job, or looking for new hobbies to take on outside of your job.
This week Maria & Natasha talk about how to do that research in a way that feels manageable and digestible, so you can actually jump into it without fear or resistance.

A lot of us are stuck between wanting to resist/help everyone's who's suffering right now/contribute to all the causes we care about and feeling frozen by the sheer magnitude of what's happening/feeling unable to start anywhere.

This week, Maria breaks down how we can get out of that frozen state, why it's so important to not overwhelm ourselves further and why we should not be ignoring our own joy in the middle of all the chaos.

5 Strategies for Coping with Election Stress
A lot of us are experiencing a lot of election anxiety right now, while also being expected to keep showing up in our lives and our work. So how do you cope with that? In this episode, I offer 5 strategies on coping with election anxiety, being able to show up to your life even with lower energy and an overwhelmed nervous system, and being able to connect with others during this stressful time.
To summarize, the five strategies are:
1. Not blaming yourself for feeling frozen or less productive right now
2. Developing some grounding practices
3. Applying triage to your schedule and doing your work with a lot less intensity than usual
4. Focusing on the parts of the election you can control - voting, talking to others about voting, volunteering
5. Developing and leaning on your community
If you need additional support with stress relief right now, I am offering 30-min 1-on-1 stress-relief calls, and offering the first call for free. To book your call, go to restovergrind.com/work-with-meTo get in touch with Maria:
