I interviewed Thomas Finn, who runs the podcasts, Jeg skal lige forstå ( @Jegskalligeforstå ) on Masculinity Danish and Ild i Hjertet ( @Ildihjertetpodcast ) focused on bringing fire and heart to relationships. When I contacted him, I had no idea that his life was so similar to mine, and especially that he had also converted to Christianity. So while there are certainly many differences between Thomas and I, not least in our approach to Christianity, I appreciated this as a great conversation and Thomas and I will certainly be talking again.Thomas and Maniphesto discussed various topics related to masculinity, fatherhood, and the impact of traditional values on society. They also expressed their concerns about the promotion of 'toxic masculinity', the subversion of Western society, and the negative effects of black-and-white thinking. Lastly, they discussed the paradox of modern society's pursuit of material comfort and its impact on overall well-being, the importance of maintaining a natural lifestyle, and the weakening of masculinity.Timestamps:00:00 The Danish Manosphere - going Christian?0:35 Exploring Masculinity and Christianity05:46 Fatherhood's Impact on Individuals and Society08:54 The Negative Impact of 'Toxic Masculinity' on Society18:56 Concerns About Equality, Equity, and COVID-19 Vaccine26:27 Black-and-White Thinking, Perspective, and Masculinity38:02 Material Comfort, Nature, and Spirituality50:44 Productive Discussion and Future Plans🔔 Subscribe to our channel to stay updated on our latest content. 🔔https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXPMCOblA-vdnIpE-4BR8PA?sub_confirmation=1🟠 Read more about Maniphesto:https://maniphesto.com/about🟠 Free Tools and Resources: https://maniphesto.com/tools/🟠 Join an online men's group with Maniphesto Core: https://maniphesto.com/core-member/🟠Find us on your preferred platform:https://linktr.ee/maniphesto

Maniphesto and Father John Strickland discussed the importance of understanding history, particularly from an orthodox Christian perspective, and the role of the Orthodox Church in providing a transformative process for modern individuals seeking a life of purpose and meaning. They also explored the historical and cultural developments that led to the division between the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church, and the disintegration of orthodox Christianity after the great schism. A conversation with Fr Josiah Trenham on “Integrity” and “Being a Man of Your Word” - centered on the Orthodox Christian faith. As a father of three sons and an Orthodox Christian, I know that the most important measure of my success in fatherhood depends on my ability to lead my sons to Christ. I know that my actions speak far louder than my words, so thus being a man of integrity will determine my success. I would like to understand better what St Paul says in Romans 7: "For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do." And especially how I am to respond in the face of that - what are the sources of my own duplicity, twisted intentions, and darkened heart, how do I become more aware of these things in everyday life, and what am I to do about it.In this conversation, I particularly ask, what is the reason that I am unable to recognize, even less control my inability to do what I say I want to do? And how do I handle my anger in a way that can bring me and my family closer to God. Maniphesto was started as a partnership with Alexander Bard and myself in 2016.After some years, we grew to a state where I realised there were unreconcilable differences in our vision and values, meaning that working together was impossible, leading to us parting ways in 2022. It's no secret that our differences stem from my conversion to Orthodox Christianity. Especially when I saw that so many men were struggling with extreme confusion about their sexuality and attempted to find a pragmatic framework to address some of the worst problems, then we saw how far apart we were. Since then we have had one conversation - a panel debate in Berlin on the subject of marriage. This is our second conversation. ********************************************************************Read more about Maniphesto:►https://maniphesto.com/aboutTake our free men's life assessment:►https://maniphesto.com/Join an online men's group with Maniphesto Core:►https://maniphesto.com/core-member/Find us on your preferred platform:►https://linktr.ee/maniphesto

A conversation with dating coach Ege Reynolds of The Charming Man. Ege Reynolds is a former software engineer who is now the founder & CEO of The Charming Man, where he aims to help genuine, analytical men attract & date women authentically. While I can see that the work Ege does can help men reach their goals of finding a partner, I am also critical of the "dating coaching" approach, so I appreciated the opportunity to speak to Ege about it. A conversation on the connection between masculinity and virtue with Fr Josiah Trenham. Fr Josiah starts in a surprising place to illustrate how far off we have gone from the path given the role of feminism, looking at shoulder pads in women's suits. He then goes on to illustrate a beautiful example of how men can lead with integrity and love. We particularly investigate four areas for the development of masculine virtue:1. Participation in the divine services of the Church centered around the Eucharist2. Sports, athletics, and military service3. Marriage4. Fellowship in brotherhoodYou can find more content from Fr Josiah on his website:https://patristicnectar.org/

A conversation with bio-hacker and "applied neuroscience strategist" Jonathan Roseland of Limitless Mindset, comparing our approaches. During the conversation, I mentioned this conversation with Jordan Peterson, Douglas Murray, and Jonathan Pageau: • Douglas Murray and Jonathan Pageau | ... I was initially pretty skeptical about Jonathan, especially with his references to "tantra" and what smelt a lot like transhumanism to me. I grilled him a little before having him on, and appreciated his openness to conversation and learning, as well as his commitment to his marriage, clarity about monogamy, and that he was clearly finding a path between science and spirituality in his search for answers in life.
