Two years ago I threw a hail Mary and sent an email to David Reid, the VP of NOV, to be a guest on my brand new podcast. I asked him to come on to talk about a new technology at his company. To my surprise and gratitude, he obliged and was my 3rd interview ever.
During the meeting, he discussed something near and dear to his heart, and where he and his wife have spent a lifetime of work. I had been searching for something to put my energy into, something to believe in, and something that was incredibly important. From that moment, I knew I had to be a part of this, and join the fight.
David and his wife are warriors in the fight against Sex Trafficking and Slavery. His sober knowledge on the subject will wake you up and inspire you. I can't thank him enough for his mentorship. I know you will enjoy this discussion. Y

Dominique McGee may the most remarkable person I have ever met. Meeting her in person was the reason I felt the need to do this series on Human Trafficking and Slavery. Her fortitude, character, and spirit in the face of unspeakable hardships is nearly impossible to believer.
Listening to Dominique's story is not easy to hear, and its not meant to be. Her story shouldn't happen to anyone, but it does, every single day. This interview will affect you profoundly as you learn the horros and nightmarish reality of sex trafficking, I know it did me.
However, Dominque is not a victim, and will never be one. She has now turned pain into fighting by dedicating her life to prevention of Sex Trafficking. My hope is that the listener learns just how profoundly serious this issue is, and ignoring it is no longer and option.
