Hi Mama,
Wanna hear a joke? Maternity leave in the US. This topic fires me up like no other so today I wanted to express my feelings on the topic and outline how the lack of a federal maternity leave policy in the US has left me scrambling to figure out how to be the mother I want to be and still be "productive" in this society.
It's a huge struggle and I get real and raw with you (of course) about my issues with the current lack of policy.
In this episode I talk about...
1. How the currently "maternity leave" (of lack thereof) is disrespectful to women in the US (I say women because I'm sure there are some woman who are choosing not to become mothers because of this!)
2. My current situation and how the current maternity leave structure is affecting my family planning choices.
3. More about the hustle of motherhood
4. My daily schedule as a SAHM who hustles hard!
I hope that you found this episode interesting. I could honestly go on about this topic forever because there's so much to unpack. I really hope things will change soon for women in the US.

In this episode I cover...
1. How I decided to be a SAHM
2. How the hustle has become the norm for SAHMs
3. My career goals now that life has changed

Hi Mama,
After sharing a pandemic related episode I got a question from listener Sarah. She asks, "What do you do if you have a baby that's not vaccinated but you also have family members who refuse to get the vaccine? I have family members who don't believe COVID is real and don't believe that kids can get it, so they don't want to get the vaccine. However, it's making a strain in our family. What do you do?"
This is something that I personally deal with so today I am sharing my experience and my little piece of advice on this topic. Simply put: my child, my choice!! You are that boss, mama!! This is for all scenarios, not even just covid related but everything. Your child, your choice!! Say it again!
Thank you to everyone who has left a rating or review of the show so far! You can leave a rating on Apple by going to the show and scrolling all the way to the bottom. I can't wait to read your review in an upcoming episode.
As always, feel free to send me a DM on IG @motheroffawn or email to [email protected] if you have topic suggestions/questions/or experiences to share with me.
Stay safe and well, mama!

Hi Mama,
Becoming a parent during the pandemic has been hard, scary, isolating, traumatic, and very very sad. I feel that at my core. But today I wanted to share the positive side of becoming a parent during the pandemic. I know that as I record this that everyone's situation was different and unique, and you might not have the same experience as me, but I hope that one of these positive points resonates with you. What we had to do was "unprecedented"... yup, I'm sick of that term too, but it's true! I know the pandemic isn't over, but I am optimistic that brighter days are coming. If we can get through this, we can do anything!
If you want to share your personal experience, send me a message on Instagram @motheroffawn or an email to [email protected]. I would love to hear what the most positive part of becoming a parent during the pandemic has been for you!
Stay safe and well, mama.

Hi Mama,
Wow, I am so nervous to release this episode!! I listened back to it after recording and despite the noises in the background I'm happy because it's one of my best episodes to date. I'm honest, raw and vulnerable as I discuss my recent struggles with Postpartum Rage and PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder) because I want you to know you are NOT ALONE if you suffer from either of these issues.
In this episode I cover:
1. My experience with postpartum rage (what it is, triggers, how it feels)
2. How I realized it might be PMDD instead
3. Symptoms and info about PMDD
4. How I plan to try and treat my PMDD
I want to say thank you to everyone who has been listening and supporting the podcast. I hope to do episodes more often because I really LOVE sharing these episodes with you.
As always, you can find me on Instagram @motheroffawn to ask questions, vent, chat, etc! I'm here for you!!

Hi Mama,
Today I'm doing something a little different, just a quick story time! :) This week my mother-in-law came from Vietnam to the United States to live with us! So many people think I'm insane to be okay with having her move in full time, so I wanted to tell my story so that you can understand why I'm trilled that she's here! It's been a long time coming and I feel like I finally have my "village" after 16 months of raising Mia with my husband and no outside help!

Hi Mama,
In today's episode I'm sharing 10 tips on how to improve your mental health in order to be a better mama to your baby! It took me 15 months to really realize the importance of taking care of my own mental health in order to be a good mama. Instead of baby comes first we have to remember that mama comes first so that mama can take care of baby.
These are the things I started doing on a regular basis so that way I could start healing myself mentally and lead a happier lifestyle which would ultimately help me to be a better mom.
1. Journaling
2. Audio diaries
3. Self care to-do list
4. Slowing down & listening to my body/heart
5. Getting outside
6. Creating a routine
7. Therapy
8. Realizing that the only person I can control is myself
9. Exercising
10. Realizing that social media DOES NOT MATTER when it comes to my true happiness
I hope this episode gives you some ideas on ways you can make small changes to your life in order to free up your mental load, brighten your days, and in turn become a better mama to your baby!
If you have questions about anything I shared today or just want to share your personal tips, experiences and stories, find me on Instagram @motheroffawn or send me an email to [email protected].
Take care and stay well, mama.

Hey mama,
In this episode I talk you through my experience of finally building a healthy lifestyle as a new mom. Honestly, being as busy as I am with a VERY ACTIVE 16-month old, I felt like it would be impossible to have the time to spend on myself. I was wrong! It just takes a little extra planning but it's 100% do-able!
In this episode I cover:
1. Why I decided to make a change
2. What healthy eating looks like to me
3. Tips on how to start planning your own healthy meal plan
4. My experience with sweets and treats *spoiler, I still eat them*
5. Using the "minimum" mindset when creating a fitness routine
6. My keys for fitness: enjoyability, flexibility, realistic, and consistent
In my next episode I plan to dive into the ways that I have started taking care of my mental health and give you an actionable plan on how you can start making small changes in order to get to a better headspace, even on the most stressful days. Can't wait to share it with you!
If you have questions, or just want to chat, find me on Instagram @motheroffawn or you can send an email to [email protected].
Stay safe and well, mama!

Hi Mama,
Social media can be A LOT. Wether you're using it casually to post baby pics and keep up with friends, or you're using it to make a living, it can be DRAINING. In episode 5, I shared my experience as a content creator and my entire journey. Recently, I haven't found joy in Instagram and the more content I created for other's to consume, the more I felt like I was losing myself.
In today's episode I discuss what it was like to completely unplug from Instagram for 10 days as a content creator, and what I learned during my time away. Some of the things I talk about in this episode are...
1. Using audio diaries to express myself in a safe place
2. A new kind of "to-do" list that helped me find myself again
3. How taking a step back helped me to realize that's most important in my life
4. What I did when I came back to Instagram to make it a healthier experience for me
I hope that you love this episode and find value in it! Please be sure to rate the podcast on Apple, share with a friend, and send me a message on Instagram (how ironic!) @motheroffawn or an email to [email protected] to share your experiences and thoughts on this episode! Have an amazing week and I'll see you next time! :)

Hello hello!
Today I wanted to share the story of my journey as a content creator in great detail with you guys. It's long and interesting and there are a lot of "chapters" to my story but it was really fun to reflect and look back on all the reasons why I love being creative. I've recently been doing a lot of reflecting and I feel excited to reclaim my identity as someone who creates content for the LOVE of creating and then JOY of creating, rather than worrying about how other people will judge the content when they consume it. Thanks for listening to this episode. I hope the audio was okay so please let me know what you think by sending an email to me at [email protected] or send me a DM on Instagram @motheroffawn. I'm so inspired right now so I might even share some of the old photos I talk about in this episode on IG so go follow and check them out! :)
Stay safe and take care, my friend!
