Lenny, Alfie's brother, joins the discussion this week as the lads dive into the Paddington trilogy. Paddington heads home to Peru but discovers that Aunt Lucy has gone on a quest of some sort in this anticipated third instalment, releasing seven years after the beloved Paddington 2. Phoenix Buchanan is a living legend.
Prepare for Peruvian bear impressions and homemade theme tunes. A marmalade sandwich would go down nicely with this one.

ConGradulations to the Movie On Up lads! This week the boys chat their graduation ceremony, Adams weird tribal handshake with Alfie's brother, and 3 new releases. Once again, it's the one man show this week, with Adam reviewing all three films: Red One (the Christmas film released 30 days too early), Clint Eastwoods final foray in cinema with Juror #2, and new (Oscar buzzed) romcom Anora. Keep your eyes peeled for next week's South American marmalade themed episode.

As it's Halloween, they discuss their favourite horror films (plus some for the family) before testing their knowledge with a SpOoOoOoky Quiz - you don't want to miss it!

Drink along at home and take a shot every time one of us says "Sebastian Stan" this episode.
It's a Winter Soldier special this week, talking about A Different Man, the recent release from A24. Adam also caught The Apprentice, the new Trump biopic, that he had the privilege of watching at the London Film Festival this week.

Hey, just like the film Joker: Folie à Deux, somethings get left on the cutting room floor. Here's a ten minute outtake where the lads descend into heated discussion over the criticism this film is receiving
-
Look at these two contrarians... This week the boys tackle Joker: Folie à Deux, the rather controversial film at the moment starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. We also hear from a few listeners, including podcast regular Josh Brooker - sending in his always so eloquently conveyed thoughts.
Adam also caught an early showing of the animated Transformers prequel Transformers One releasing this Friday!
Keep your ears peeled for a BONUS 10 minutes of outtakes where the lads get really enthusiastic about the film - coming Friday.

Three excellent films are up for review this week! Francis Ford Coppola's MEGALOPOLIS, a crazy body horror with Demi Moore & Margaret Qualley called THE SUBSTANCE and a heart-breaking drama starring Saoirse Ronan, THE OUTRUN. All films that will leave you speechless, for very different reasons. We also make a long-awaited return to Michael Caine's Corner.

This week, there's a cold chill in the air, heavy rain and suitably dark content to review. The latest MCU project, Agatha All Along has debuted its first two episodes and the MOU boys are pleasantly surprised! Adam reviews Speak No Evil and Alfie reviews the second series of Netflix's Monsters, this time looking at the story of the Menendez family.
We would also like to pay tribute to Dame Maggie Smith who passed away aged 89. She was a magnificent actress and a national treasure portraying some of this century's most iconic roles across film and TV. Rest in peace.

Adam's got you covered with reviews this week, reviewing both The Critic (the new mystery/thriller from Ian McKellen) and Lee (the biopic about Lee Miller, famed photojournalist).
The lads also have laugh at guessing sis different quotes from films... you just know Michael is going to be in there somewhere. Speaking of Michael, he stops by to talk about his 60th birthday party.
-
Due to some technical difficulties, episode 31 was delayed a week - you can blame Adam's laptop for that. You may also notice that Adam's audio isn't spectacular this week, you can just blame Adam himself for that. That kid got a First in his degree if you can believe it (and he claims he didn't bribe the chancellors...)
ANYWAY, in this episode, the boys chat about the sequel to Beetlejuice which has arrived after 36 years, the second season of The Rings of Power and Netflix's new show 'KAOS' which stars the likes of Jeff Goldblum.

THE REBRAND IS HERE! Look at that new cover art *wolf whistle*
"Reviews, impressions and laughs"... Well, I think we live up to that this episode.
With the 30th anniversary of the legend of cinema,PULP FICTION, being back on big screens, Adam caught it for the very first time. We also talk about Zoë Kravitz' directorial debut BLINK TWICE. Adam also brings along a movie sound game for Alfie to play.
We've got film news. We've got Michael Caine. We've got the return of everyone's favourite segment: A-List Star in Our Impression Repertoire. What more could you want?

In space, no one can hear you scream. Thankfully, in Spotify, everyone can listen to Movie On Up's film chat!
This week, Alfie reviews the popular Alien: Romulus while Adam watches Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986) for the first time ever. The cancellation of The Acolyte is the top story on everyone's lips and a tricky question about musical biopics challenges the boys.

Two is company, three’s a crowd… you’re telling me! Our Zoom calls bandwidth could hardly handle the three of us lads (so apologies for the glitchy mics). Nonetheless we’re here with episode 28.
Friend of the show Josh Brooker has us covered with an absolutely scathing review of Borderlands. Adam covers the Colleen Nolan novel turn film, It Ends With Us. And this weeks guest co-host Euan Walsh reviews M. Night Shyamalan's newest twist-less feature Trap.
The lads also discuss the D23 news and Michael stops by for a soliloquy... bless him.

In this episode, the boys review Kneecap - a Belfast-based musical biopic - and House of the Dragon Season 2. Why have so many of the recent TV series let us down though? How can streaming services overcome this rut they seem to be in? Bring back physical media - that's what Movie On Up says!
Oh, Adam's Mum also makes an appearance!

The production schedule had gone out the window and Adam and Alfie were nigh on melting in the sweltering studio. However, they powered through and chatted about the new Marvel announcements from San Diego Comic-Con (RDJr is cast as who??) before delving into Deadpool & Wolverine's highs, lows and bits in between.
There's also a rant about Allelujah, a forgotten, baffling movie from last year... don't get us started.

EPISODE 25 is finally here! After a week of editing mishaps, moving house, dodgy computers and a corrupted (and possibly haunted) Michael Caine audio file, episode 25 has finally arrived.
Adam caught the sequel 28 years too late Twisters. Alfie stayed home and binged The Bear season 3… COUSIN! And the boys also get into a SPOILER FREE chat about Deadpool & Wolverine, the only release from Marvel this year… keep your eyes peeled for spoiler talk coming next week.
