August 6th is Jamaica's Independence Day and the day Courtney Laws was laid to rest in 1996. Although this bonus is late to air I am again sharing his words that demonstrate his love for his country of birth.

26 years ago today my father Courtney Laws OD, OBE died. In his memory I am reading the speech he wrote to accept the prestigious Order of Distinction from Jamaica, one of his proudest moments .
