Today, Seth and I discuss a hot topic - what tools should beginner NoCoders use for various projects. There is a lot of content on this, but the hundreds of options can seem daunting. We try to simplify this by providing our Top 3 for each use-case (e.g., Website builders, web app builders, mobile apps, etc.). In addition, we talk about the mindset beginner NoCoders need to have when starting out, and what learning / community resources are available to them. This episode includes Part 2 of our discussion. If you haven't already, make sure to check out Part 1 (#068).

My guest on the show today is Kelly Claus. Kelly is a professional Visual Developer, a Bubble bootcamp instructor, and founder of Rote, a Bubble app that streamlines the grant writing process. Prior to discovering NoCode, she was a Freelance Web Designer for several years, a career that emerged unexpectedly from a long and grueling tenure as Operations Director for a tiny nonprofit. This combination of design skills and systems brain aligned with the recent emergence of no-code platforms like Bubble have allowed Kelly to build things that would have been impossible just a few years ago, including the career that she now enjoys!
Kelly is an alumni of OnDeck's NoCode Fellowship where she still runs a weekly Bubble learning session for other fellows. She's also been traveling full time for six years!
We get into every single one of those aspects of her life and career and i'm sure you guys will enjoy this episode! Here's my conversation with Kelly Claus.

Today, Seth and I talk about women in no-code. This is Part 2 of a two-part conversation where we discuss the existing issues with gender parity and Women in Tech. We also talk about how NoCode is empowering people in general and women in particular to break free and create new products and get their name out there. And finally, we highlight a list of women. That are doing some really great things in no-code.
And I say this at the beginning of the podcast. The irony of the fact that two men are talking about women and no code is not lost on me. The idea here is not to talk about something new that we're uniquely positioned to present. But it's more to just bring up the existing issues that we see and highlight some people who have been doing great work in the midst of all these challenges.
If you haven't checked out Part 1 yet, definitely listen to that first to get some additional context!

Today’s guest was an absolute treat to interview and is easily one of the best conversations on the pod! I sit down with Nanxi Liu, serial entrepreneur, partner at X-Factor Ventures and CEO of Blaze Tech. Nanxi wears so many hats, I’m amazed she ends up being so effective in every single venture she pursues!
We talk about patience as a key skill for founders, the challenges women face in the VC ecosystem and how a busy CEO like Nanxi manages her time. I think you’ll get a ton out of this - here’s my conversation with Nanxi!

Today’s episode is with the co-founder of Instadeq, Mariano Guerra. Mariano has a long career in tech and research, and he brings his experience to bear in this conversation, and with his product Instadeq.
The interesting thing is how Mariano and I got introduced. If you’ve been listening to the podcast for a while, you know that Seth and I recently published a 5-part NoCode History lesson series. In the first episode, we referenced a book published in 1982 that talked about the need to enable software development without programming. Mariano, a listener of the pod immediately wrote to me saying he found something from the 1950s that referenced an abstraction concept similar to how NoCode abstracts layers from software development - really cool stuff!!
I think you’re really going to enjoy this one. Here’s my conversation with Mariano.
