We also dive into what our reactions would be if these scenarios happened to our children. Please note that at the time of the recording, The Crown Act had not been passed by the House of Representatives. Although we are still waiting on the Senate to pass this bill making hair discrimination illegal in all 50 states, since this recording, 18 states have signed this bill into law. You can read more about the current state of the bill here.

We are tired of not having our boundaries respected and other races thinking they can treat us like a petting zoo. We also discuss the reasons why people feel the need to touch Black women's hair without asking for permission.

Today we address the issues with this mentality and break down what good hair actually is. We also discuss why we must change our mindset about good hair in relation to the impact it has on the younger generations.
