Samira is incredibly brave! Not only did she escape a toxic situation, but she's also sharing her story to help others. Her resilience is truly inspiring. In our society, it's crucial to raise awareness about emotional abuse and its detrimental effects.
I genuinely hope that anyone going through this can find the strength to leave or make their partner understand the seriousness of the issue.
By the way, Samira found some books that helped her gain perspective and made her leaving a little easier:
* He’s not so good for you ~ Beth Wilson
* When love hurts ~ Jill Cory and Karen McAndless-Davis

Season 1 episode 10.
Yes this episode is coming on late because a part of me was (and still is) scared to share. Anyway here goes nothing.
We all have had a heartbreak or more. And in today’s episode I will be sharing with you guys how I healed and moved on from mine. It was such an emotional episode to film, I recorded this episode like 4 times, I kid you not😅 but anyway here goes nothing.
I think it’s brave of me to open up about this, it happens to a lot of us, and we need to start speaking on it, it needs to be normalized, because it’s normal and it’s happening.
Anyway, let me know what you think after listening. And don’t not forget we need more people telling their stories, and NEVER FULLY UNDERSTOOD is 100% here to tell your story🩷

Today we sit with Coach Khadija Ibrahim and she answers questions concerning healing after a divorce. A lot of women find it difficult to get back to themselves after leaving a marriage, we speak on the journey back to yourself, understanding, acceptance and navigating shame in a society that is unkind to divorce women.
We also speak on how we as a society need to do better, how we should be kinder and less judgmental. Such an interesting and educative listen. There’s a lot to take out of it and I genuinely hope you do.
