We've been out at the stone barn for the past few days working on some new music. For fun we sat down last night and did a quick recording of this Sara Bareilles song. Enjoy!
-
For this month’s song we did a lovely little lullaby. And since its past my bedtime “Late Night Lullaby” seemed like a a fitting title. Enjoy!

One of the cool things about doing this music thing is we get to meet some other really talented musicians. So we thought since we're only writing a song a month for 2010, why not feature some of those musicians every now and then? To kick things off we decided to feature Kyle Blake. He's a super talented guy that we met back when we were at K-State in Manhattan, KS.
Kyle just finished up his second album "Kid From Kansas" and it sounds awesome. We went over to his house and did a little interview with him and had him play an acoustic number for us. So check him out and if you like what you hear then go buy his stuff! -
Our second song for 2010. Daybreak has a nice mixture of natural and effected, digital and analog. For more info about our song a month project visit NewMusicMonday.com

Our first song for 2010. This one features an eclectic mix of sounds. The usual acoustic and electric guitars are supplemented with things like coins, a pen, spray bottle, and cabinet doors.
-
This song took some recycled portions from an older song that we did. The finished product turned into one of our favorite songs yet.

listen to Patrick and Tim talk about the commentary to Lost For Words... if that doesn't sound exciting I don't know what does!
-
We tried to be even more transparent for our 43rd song. For "Lonely Word" we posted a series of revisions over the course of a few weeks for this song. Take a listen to the final results.
