It is with complete heartbreak that (a day after this episode was recorded) Morris the celebrity alligator that I mention in this episode passed away in his home in Mosca, Colorado at the Colorado Gator Reptile Park on Mothers Day. Rest In Peace sweet boy.

In 1898, for nine months, two lion brothers would terrorize Tsavo, their main targets were men helping construct a railway bridge going over the Tsavo River. Many men would die brutal horrific deaths, being attacked, dragged away and consumed by the feline predators, until Colonel Lieutenant Patterson took them down.

It was a plot planned by several hundred, many of these men were respected military men with extensive and impressive backgrounds, like colonels, generals, majors, military police and several more. The plan was to assassinate Hitler. The plot fails miserably and several lives will be snuffed because of it, resulting in executions by the thousands.

This results in at least 87 deaths, with at least five accounts not sharing the number of people lost with these water/air crafts.

A U.S. Air Force Fairchild C-119B-10-FA Flying Boxcar (s/n 49-102) of the 314th Troop Carrier Group in 1952. This aircraft was later converted to an C-119C in 1955-56. The 314th TCG served in Japan during the Korean War, participating in two major airborne operations, at Sunchon in October 1950 and at Munsan-ni in March 1951. It later transported supplies to Korea and evacuated prisoners of war.

Spray the Sailboat, Timandra, USS Cyclops, Schooner Carroll A Deering, SS Cotopaxi, Suduffco, USS Proteus, USS Nereus, US Navy Patrol Plane, Flight 19, PBM Mariner, City Belle, Douglas C54 and the Star Tiger. Resulting in at least 599 deaths.

In this first episode of the mini series The Bermuda Triangle, Tessa dives in deep into the treacherous waters, discussing some events where watercraft went through the mysterious Bermuda Triangle and was never seen or heard from again.
Tessa discusses the following:
General Gates, USS Pickering, USS Wasp, USS Wildcat, Schooner Lynx, Schooner Hornet, Grampus, SS City of Glasgow, HMS Eurydice, HMS Atalanta, and Ellen Austin.
While four watercraft did not have the amount of people on board, what we do know is in these events a confirmed 1,729 people vanished without a trace, and prematurely went to their watery graves. The actual number though is unknown and remains a mystery to this very day.

Before Tillamook Rock Lighthouse would be built things went wrong on the rock. One man accessing the area is killed when a wave takes him and he swept out to sea and never seen again, and just a couple weeks before it would be lit for the first time a vessel crashes right near the rock and unlit lighthouse, taking 16 men to their watery graves.
