  • Indie Source: Are you looking for an apparel manufacturer?
Indie Source is an apparel manufacturer and fashion consultancy in downtown Los Angeles. We were born as a solution for emerging brands lacking experience in navigating complex supply chains and bringing products to market. Instead of high factory minimums and dirty warehouses, we offer low minimums in a clean space in downtown Los Angeles where we promote our workers and their craftsmanship. Most importantly, we offer emerging fashion brands the space to focus on the creative components of their collections by allowing us to manage the technical development and manufacturing. Our clients work with a team of production managers, sourcing specialists, pattern makers and sample makers to bring their visions to life.
As a full package (CMTP) manufacturer we also provide marking, grading, cutting, sewing, printing, packing and shipping of finished production runs. We are proud to offer custom fabric development to our brands and our partnerships with over 70 domestic and import fabric suppliers allows us to source exactly what our clients need.

  • Welcome to the Pattern To Product podcast!

Hi! We’re Steven and Ashley and if you’re a designer, artist, entrepreneur or anyone wanting to develop home decor, lifestyle or apparel products, we want to welcome you to our podcast.

We are a husband and wife team from New Orleans, LA with a background in textile design, marketing and branding. This podcast was created out of our frustration of not being able to find the information and resources we needed to develop and manufacture home decor products.

What we’ve found is that sourcing materials and finding manufactures is hard and many people in the industry don’t want to share information. So we want to pull back the curtain and share with you our successes and struggles and give you every resource we discover along the way (no secrets here). And not only do we want to bring you quality product development resources but we also want to bring you experts in branding, licensing, and business building.

    Currently we are sourcing:

Fabric printers and manufactures for upholstery and apparel
    Wallpaper printers
    Picture Frame sources
    Party supply manufactures
And much much more and we’re sharing everything we learn in the process right down to the name and company that manufactures them.

    Our Goal

As a one person operation, small business or start up with limited resources, finding the right manufactures to develop products can be a difficult process. The majority of manufactures are almost impossible to find online and the ones you can find want large minimum quantity orders among other high barriers of entry for startups and small businesses.

So we’ve made it our mission to research and find as many manufactures, designers and artists in the home decor, lifestyle and apparel industries that can truly offer massive value to your business and hopefully build a pretty cool community of artists, designers and entrepreneurs in the process.

Our goal is to give you all the resources we learn about to help you create products and build your design, apparel or lifestyle brand.

    Join the Community

Sign up for our weekly newsletter (one really good email a week) and get access to the Pattern To Product Mastermind Facebook Group.

There you can interact with a community of artists, designers and entrepreneurs who are building design brands, apparel brands and products driven businesses like you. Learn from one another and share your resources in a cool community of like-minded people. We’re also bringing you exclusive and interviews and content not available on the podcast or any of our other social pages.
