In this episode I'm delighted to welcome the very original wildflower that is Danielle Garner of Wildflower & Wholehearted located in Dublin Ireland. Danielle will share with us her childhood passion for hair, that was started by playing with her dolls hair, then progressing in her teenage years to her friends hair and getting her first hair lessons on YouTube. Starting her journey in salons as a teenager in a local salon while at school. Danielle waited to finish her school exams before joining Peter Mark and under the guidance of the brilliant star maker Cathal Keaveney with his help this wildflower started to blossom. Danielle's talents started to shine quickly with success at hair competitions and working as a session stylist at major fashion weeks. With the security of a senior stylist position in one of Irelands leading Salon Groups this true talent decided it was time to leave and have the freedom to pursue her session styling while work in a smaller relaxed environment. This was the creation of Wildflower Danielle's first baby, not happy to just have one baby to nurture Danielle and her partner Craig decided to have a real baby and a short while after giving birth to Wildflower Danielle gave birth to her baby son Harrison. Most people would struggle with two babies, but this Mammy with the help of her soulmate Craig, Her Mam and some close friends grew the salon baby into a multi award winning Salon team of over 20, renowned for their fantastic work and forward thinking views on Team Care and Salon Sustainability. Danielle shares with honesty the highs and lows of her journey and her new salon education project Wholehearted. This amazing young lady has proven to this 38 year veteran of the hairdressing industry, that we can learn as much from the talent comming behind us as we can from the talent that went before us.
