FollowLeadLOVE is a film that transcends beyond the world of dance where ballroom competition only serves as a backdrop to reflect social issues that parallel our today’s society such as inclusiveness, diversity, acceptance, female empowerment & equality.

Sarah Connors has worked in the film industry as a co-producer on theatrical and VOD features such as Violet & Daisy by Oscar® winning writer Geoffrey Fletcher, and on Showtime Network’s un-released “The President Is Missing” pilot with EP/director Michael Cuesta whom she worked with previously on “City on a Hill” for Showtime.
Currently, Sarah is producing an independent film entitled “The Runaway” written by David Zeltser, Max Faugno, and Olivia Silver, to be directed by Olivia Silver (Arcadia starring John Hawkes, on Amazon Prime). Sarah is also producing two dramatic series, both are in development.
As associate producer and post-production supervisor, Sarah worked five years under the tutelage of director John Sayles and producer Maggie Renzi. She continued working for such innovative filmmakers as Robert Altman, Kasi Lemmons, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Noah Baumbach, Barry Levinson, Ira Sachs, Bruce Beresford, Susan Seidelman, David Mamet, and Curtis Hanson.
She earned her M.F.A. from N.Y.U.’s Graduate Film & TV program, and received her B.A. in English Literature with honors from Washington University in St. Louis. She resides in New York City with husband Michael Dorf, CEO/Founder City Winery, and their children.

Jesus Hernandez is an experienced film programmer and curator, social impact entrepreneur, and producer.
Founded Bach Media in 2016 to bring Cuban independent movies to bigger audiences in New York. He worked in close collaboration with film director Eugene Jarecki since 2016 as Executive Assistant and he is Associate Producer and Production Manager of The King, which premiered in Cannes Film Festival 2017 and had its US Premiere at Sundance Film Festival 2018.
He founded Latin Reel in 2019, a year-round film series committed to Latin-driven storytelling in New York with the mission to present Latinx and Latino films to support, empower and make visible underrepresented voices in the United States.
