  • This week we lost another of our heroes. Joe Engle the only astronaut to have flown to space on the X-15 and the Space Shuttle died at the age of 91. We wanted to pay tribute to this incredible pilot so we asked Michelle Evans to join us. Michelle previous wrote and released what is the definitive book on the X-15, “The X-15 Rocket Plane: Flying The First Wings Into Space” - Joe was interviewed for the book and wrote the forward, so Michelle was the perfect guest for us to speak to this week.
