  • This episode of Stories from War Cloister is the first of two episodes looking at Old Wykehamists who served during D-Day. It tells the story of Nicholas (Nick) Somerville (I, 1936-42).

    Nick also features in the upcoming book A Noble Company by Shaun Hullis. The book charts the stories of 40 Hopperites in the 1938 house photograph and their correspondence both with each other and also with their former housemaster, Malcolm Robertson "The Bobber", during the war. The book will be published in April 2024.
