In this episode, we talk about how important it is for parents to know who is coaching their kids. We believe that coaches play a significantly important role in the mental and emotional development of kids. To be a great coach, they must be a good communicator and have a solid grasp on emotional intelligence. If the coach doesn't, the kids will suffer, potentially for the rest of their lives. We talk about our good and bad experiences with coaches in our lives and also what parents should look out for with the coaches who work with their kids.

At some point, we all face a situation that really sucks, makes us feel helpless, and in most cases, is usually totally beyond our control. We share some of our own personal experiences in the show. We also talk about how in that moment, whether it's an injury, a health issue, a death, an illness or something else, we do have control, and that's simply to embrace the suck of the situation, look for the opportunity in it, and endure it.

In this episode, we talk about how science and research can be used and abused to mislead people for specific agendas. Science can be a very effect tool for helping to discover and prove critical findings and solve key issues. However, media far too often creates misleading headlines from science and blasts it out into the public to create fear, panic and drive desperate action. It's important not to fall for overly dramatic headlines, instead we suggest you approach information with a sense of skepticism.
