Amber has retracted her disdain for B’s “Shein” beauty products since she fell in love with SheGlam lipsticks at an exclusive invite-only influencer event. However, what A’s reallyyyy hype about is THAT GLOW on B’s cheeks (pause)... It’s lovely & B’s a closeted fan but what a tangled web we weave when we have to promote a product whose line isn’t inclusive. Tune in and listen to the girls call out the brands that are still perpetuating a fraud vs those that have managed to reinvent the wheel for themselves.

The girls have a bone to pick with the term “Clean Beauty.” Without certain preservatives, these products can go rotten REAL QUICK… sending A’s skin into a spiral. – While B is simply rolling her eyes at the fact that “Clean Beauty” isn’t even regulated by the FDA. It all feels like a scam… just like products claiming “Cruelty Free.” Of course the girls don’t want the puppies to be hurt but maybe it could fix the rodent problem in NYC. Kanye Shrug Check out this week’s “The More You Know” episode as A & B debunk natural makeup and skincare.

It’s giving wellness episode, yall. The girls are both in a better mood this week even though A overworked herself in her fancy ass gym…. Her poor clients (ughhh, A working) likely caught a whiff of Bengay on set. B gently breaks down Ozempic by way of her husband’s expertise while being clueless about Shrooms…or rather as A puts it, “adaptogens.” The bottom line is weed are the new Newports. The girls end with ripping apart product packaging – literally and figuratively. Does a 3D eyeshadow palette ever make sense? & which skincare line stole the color scheme from Martin? Tune into this week’s episode & be sure to like, share, and subscribe!

This week the girls are talking about HAIR. A rabbit hole that began with A schooling B on how to use CLIP INS (yes, sis is clearly brain-dead), tape-ins, and mystery fibers AKA braiding hair. A silk press that mimics a RELAXER, teaching families about the freelance beauty struggle when you can't afford to get your hair done, and a very biased Dr. Barbara Sturm facial review is the beauty banter you NEED to hear on this week's episode of The A & B Conversation. B confesses the B stands for BOUJIE...since all-inclusive resorts and day spas give her the ICK, leading the girls down a rabbit hole of all things #BlackGirlLuxury. Let A & B kindly educate you on why you SHOULD be putting glycolic toner under your armpits & not near your GOOCH, along with A's subtle flex of the all-inclusive resorts SHE'S been to, and how a fancy white hair salon that B's Black momma took her to still managed to struggle straightening her basic ass texture. C your way into this week's self-care AF episode.

A & B talk the nitty gritty about the fellas... in the glam room. B has been a little "boy crazy" with work since NYFW, opening a can of worms that leads to manscaping, Boy-Lipo (not to be confused with Boy-BBL), if Drake's braids are really real, and the similarities between Bad Bunny and Prince.
-
Black History Month is almost over (although it's Black AF 365 over here), and the girls have a reminder for all the Black creatives out there. The Titles says it all, C your way in!

The girls are back with product suggestions on what to update your makeup arsenal with! A also educates B on "tubing" vs fiberwig mascaras and what's been giving her lashes LIFE lately. Tune in to get some ideas on what to cop for yourself, bae, or your Galentine's Day bestie. If you've been in the market for something specific here are timestamps to cut to each category: Lips (1:44); Eyes + Brows (15:11); Skin (38:50).

Are the girlies still giving a full Housewives beat or dewy raw fashion skin? Has Doja created a movement with her shaved brows or are brushed up brows still reigning supreme? && would you DARE bleach those thangs or do you need a product recommendation for a faux bleached moment? Listen now to A & B talk about the latest and upcoming beauty trends.
-
Ahhh, assisting in the glam world… a touchy subject. Is it even ‘a thing’ anymore, thanks to social media? How close is the line from assisting to exploiting? Should you get paid before the Key? Do you talk too much on set? & above all else… ARE YOU PSYCHIC? ‘Cause you’ll need to know when they need THAT brush at THIS time. Listen to the girls shoot the shit about assistant’s assistance.

The girls are back! After the whole holiday, Sag Season festivities A&B are back at it, come catch up with your faves.

It's time to take advantage of the last of the holiday sales, hence this episode dropping on Cyber Monday. But! -- Let's spend our dollars wisely and shop Black & brown owned! Here are some of the girls' absolute favorite brands to buy ...From top shelf to well drink (LOL). Oh, and happy 10th episode to the A & B Conversation Pod cast, crew, and listeners!

Where it all began: retail makeup. Every once in a while the girls get reminded of the past and what it took for them to get to where they are now. Working retail was equal parts fun and triggering for EVERYONE, not to mention the friendships that it made or broke. But we came, we saw, and we conquered! Tune in if one pencil sharpener ruined your sales average for the day and you still haven’t gotten over it.
-
You’ve hustled your entire career and finally booked your dream client! Yay! …Until you scroll a week later and notice they’ve worked with someone else and not you. Boo! You can’t help feeling rejected, discouraged, and crushed …but cheer up! Let A & B explain why it’s really not that deep.
-
Working on set with your favorite celebrity’s favorite celebrity LOOKS like $$$ on the gram but net 30, 60, and 90 payment terms can make freelancer life FEEL like a scam. Chasing down accounts payable departments, stressing out about outstanding invoices, and trying to pay your bills on time is the REAL #BTS in the industry. Tune in if you couldn’t imagine not receiving a paycheck for a month.

“Happy Halloween from A & B in living color! Watch your favorite duo (or Wayne & Garth, LOL) filter through the best on-screen and celebrity icons that have shape-shifted and influenced some of the biggest glam trends throughout pop culture.”

Have you ever arrived on set and conveniently the playlist changes from rock to hip hop? Have you ever fought with DP's about how poorly the lighting is on the talent (likely someone deeper toned)? Well, you might be entitled to compensation. Listen to this class-action commiseration of what set life is like being Black and brown on set.
-
Of course we HAD to chime in and dissect the very viral Hailey Bieber’s “Brownie Glazed Lips” (as if she wasn’t already getting dragged enough). BUT, did Hailey even claim it as her own or did beauty editors just start a fire and run from it? Listen to us pull apart the latest beauty trends, where they came from, and when to give credit where credit is due.
