Jeff Lowenfels is the author of the "Teaming" Series, which includes "Teaming with Microbes", "Teaming with Fungi", "Teaming with Nutrients", and the newest release, "Teaming with Bacteria". In addition to his books, Jeff has also written a weekly gardening column in the Alaska Dispatch every single week for the last 47 years! Outside of the gardening ecosystem, Jeff is a lawyer who has served as the Assistant Attorney General for the state of Alaska and recently ran for the United States Congress.

Dr. James White is a Professor of Plant Pathology at Rutgers University and specializes in symbiosis research, particularly endophytic microbes. He is the author of more than 180 articles, and author an editor of reference books on the biology, taxonomy, and phylogeny of fungal endophytes.
