New Zealand's best-ever Olympic shooting result occurred in 2016, after Natalie Rooney brought home a silver medal in the Rio Olympics.
Rooney's been competing as a trap shooter for over 18 years, and placed 5th and 4th in the 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games, respectively.

The race gets underway this evening, and Anthony McCrossan, Tour de France commentator joined Jason Pine to preview the great race.
Who will be wearing the yellow jersey in Paris?
Tadej PogaÄar and Jonas Vingegaard have won the last four Tours between them, each aiming to win a third Tour de France. Is this a two-man race?
McCrossan told Piney that the two have a true sporting rivalry, wanting to beat each other and just will not let the other one win.

Super Rugby has come to a close and a new era of the All Blacks has begun.
The Blues took the title last weekend for the first time in 21 years, beating the Chiefs 41-10.
Dalton Papalii, flanker for the Blues, is a member of Scott Robertsonâs new All Blacks squad, joining Jason Pine for a chat about the Bluesâ celebrations and an insight into whatâs coming for the All Blacks.
He told him that itâs going to be very different, and the next few days are going to be more about clarity and getting to know the game plan.
