Sam shares his recent experience of Newcastle United’s matchday sensory room. The room is designed to be a safe space during the match for autistic and neurodiverse people. Sam’s son, Charlie is autistic and loves Newcastle United. It was their first time in the sensory room during Newcastle’s 1-1 draw against Manchester City. Sam explains how you can access and get tickets for the sensory room, and how much of an amazing initiative it is from Newcastle United.

Newcastle's Carabao Cup campaign was left in confusion this week as their game against AFC Wimbledon was postponed due to pitch damaged caused by flooding at Wimbledon's Plough Lane. The game has been rescheduled to Tuesday 1st October at St James' Park. The draw for the next round is tonight with AFC Wimbledon/Newcastle being ball number 16.
