In 2014 Bike Magazine's Hugo Wilson and John Westlake formed two thirds of a three-rider team that rode a V-Strom 1000 from their offices in Peterborough, in the UK, back to the factory it was assembled at in Hamamatsu, Japan. Sylvain Guintoli has been there and done it in almost every discipline of motorcycle racing, with GPs, BSB, and World Superbikes ticked off. In 2021 he won the Le Mans 24-hour and the Bol d'Or at the first attempt, on the way to winning that year's Endurance World Championship with Yoshimura Suzuki Endurance Racing Team.
He won the 2022 running of the Le Mans 24-hour, and afterwards spoke to Chris Moss about the experience, what it takes to win, how you race in the dark, the pain, the strain, and the jubilation that comes with victory. -

John Reynolds is back, and in this episode he tells Chris Moss what's involved in his test and development rider role for Suzuki, and more specifically how he helped bring the GSX-R1000R to showrooms. He talks about how he evaluates the prototype and the testing schedule, and how he has to give his feedback, even if it means delivering some bad news to factory engineers. He also lets us in on what areas he wanted to see improved on the GSX-R before it was released, how that vision was realised, and how the bike went on to be successful on race tracks as well as making a great road tool.

Ten years ago Cameron Donald did something pretty special - he took a legitimate four-stroke MotoGP machine around the Isle of Man TT course as part of Suzuki's celebrations marking 50 50 years of Grand Prix racing. The TT winner climbed down off the 2010 Senior TT podium, jumped aboard Loris Capirossi's GSVR and set off on a parade lap, a parade lap calculated at 122mph! He recounts the tale with infectious enthusiasm to host Chris Moss.

Launched in 1999 the Hayabusa was an instant hit, rewriting rules and becoming a cult model in the process, finding success on drag strips, road trips, and city strips as a huge customisation scene took off, while its engine as also powered all matter of four wheel racers, and as we found out, even a helicopter.
