In this episode, Gwen wants to know which father of philosophy you'd rather invite to your Samhain ritual. Why? Because the ideas these guys shared actually relate a lot to witchcraft, paganism, politics, and religion as we know it today.
Part-Samhain/Halloween fun, part-serious philosophical education, Gwen explains why philosophy is important for everyone, and the basic beliefs of Plato vs. Aristotle (while struggling to pronounce "asceticism" and remember the word "scrying").
She gives her predictions on what each of these guys would be up to if they were "witch-fluencers" today, and how their ideas can help you have a more well-rounded spiritual practice, and intellectual/ethical stance, overall.

In this solo episode, I tell the story of how I became a witch, the mistakes I made along the way, and what I've learned after ten years of practicing paganism and witchcraft. I also dive a little deeper into the philosophical origins of religion, intellectual humility and logical fallacies related to belief systems, and what we can do to cultivate a more peaceful world among religious diversity.

Gwen is joined by Lindsay Wynn, co-owner of vulvovaginal care company Momotaro Apotheca.
Lindsay suffered recurrent yeast infections, BV, and kidney infections, which were exacerbated by the treatments intended to alleviate them. From those experiences, Lindsay developed a line of organic products to provide an alternative option for vulvovaginal care.
In this episode, Gwen and Lindsay discuss the importance of prioritizing sexual health and wellness, how gaining confidence in intimate matters can impact your life as a whole, the state of public health education, research, and care for those with vulvas, and lots more.
