This week, we welcome back the lovely Michael Ramsey, co-founder of Strong Pilates. Rams was first on the pod back in 2022 and so much has happened in the world of Strong since then so we got stuck into a little catch up and update.
Whilst I may be a bit biased because I genuinely love the workout and have been friends with some of the lovelies up in HQ, having been in the pilates space for a long time, it’s been really amazing to watch the evolution of Strong from pre-conception way back in 2018, through to the global expansion that the brand is currently going through today.
Truly the black sheep of the pilates space, Strong has developed a concept like no other and continues to innovate and pave the way for strong presence in the UK, Asia and now the USA.
In this ep, Rams and I get stuck into;
The importance of client experienceHow to create a client experience that keep people coming back forRams’ secret to constantly staying ahead of the gameCreating a Strong brand identity, visual presence and tone of voiceCreating a cohesive brand experience across culturesThe biggest lesson for entrepreneurs in the start up phaseRams’ biggest lessons around scaling a businessRams’ approach to leadership and leading a teamBalancing business and wellbeingPlus so much more!

This week, I’m coming to you with a solo ep all on letting go of the need to control (which I know we all have from time to time) and how to have a more stress free life!
There’s so many things that I can reflect back on in my life that have been completely unexpected, both amazing and also challenging. The problem is that usually when something unexpected happens and we consider it to be awesome – we call that a surprise, but when something unexpectedly ‘negative’ happens, we usually label that as bad. And when things don’t go the way we thought or how we’d hoped, we want to control it to match the outcome we had imagined in our minds.
Same with people. We sometimes expect people to be a certain way, behave a certain way or do things in the way that WE would do them. Not how they would do it. So, in this ep, I delve into the awesome Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins.
This is a life changing approach that when applied to life, you’ll notice stress, tension and emotional entanglement disappear!

She has arrived. This week I am joined by the queen the feminine energy, the author of The New Rules and the host of the Being Her podcast, Margarita Nazarenko.
This woman absolutely embodies everything she talks about. She has a passion for empowering women, promoting self development and has become the go to for all things confidence, relationships and dating.
From what I’ve observed on social media and also from talking to friends and their experiences, the landscape of today’s dating culture seems to have a lot women finding difficult to date or even find a partner.
In this chat, Margarita and I get stuck into:
The ideal dynamic between men and women during datingWhat is the masculine and feminine polarity?Are you in a mummy son relationship?What is black cat energy and how you can embody itDo you know your attachment style?Moving from an anxious attachment to secure attachmentThe falsity of authenticityWhat does status have to do with it?Creating a new identity and becoming ‘her’Plus so much more!
Not only are we celebrating Margarita hitting 1 million followers on TikTok, Season 2 of her podcast also opens this week and her online course ‘Become Her’ starts on the 1st of November – click here.
